We used to be able to simply change the old shops into galleries or vice versa.

I cannot see/find the option in the new ones. Is this really not possible? Do we HAVE to delete and create a new one?

I mean, I don't want to drop thousands of items into my inventory, in order to change the state of the place only to fill them back in afterwards. Esp. as the new code is now unable to handle masses. The current site keeps throwing errors and cloudflares, eating items in the course.

That is the only way to do it. It sucks. I mean, you could choose to just not price your items and leave it as a shop but when you make it a gallery you get a lot more room to cram with your stuff. Tough decision.

I don't know the state of your vault, but that might be a better option than your inventory.

But yeah, it does suck that you can no longer switch. In the good old days I used to turn my shop into a gallery, autoprice, then check my prices at leisure. Now its much easier to get caught in the "autopricer of drastically cut prices."

Thanks for your answer. Actually I need to turn my galleries into shops, so I can drop a tiny fraction of my legacy shop there. One gallery is storage for normal purchasable items, which didn't have place in the new shops, but those items should stay there to be priced. I HAAAATE the extreme limitations of the new tiny shops, and how much time they consume with pepeated quickstocking each one and after having gotten rid of the already existing items find a solution for the new remaining ones :-( And in spite of taking care when filling one after the other, I still have copies in at least 2 shops. A complete mess.

Buddy, you are preaching to the choir. I hate it myself, so much! But it is what it is. I am assuming you know that legacy shops are going away completely in April?

Yeah, that's what I'll have to do, drop items into my now empty unsorted part of the vault, then make the shop and then put them back.

And I only used the autopricer in my very first month here, checked the then still few items, sold high value items at a fraction of their price, because someone had errored typing or wanted to throw out their stuff for charity, ... Never again. I'm too much of a scrooch.

I was in the top ten of most items shops too, and I feel your pain. Even with six shops I was overflowing. It helped me to search each item to see what its current value is and then dump a lot of the cheapest ones into Inventory and then Fragmentize the lot sobbing all the while. All my beautiful stuff!.
