Hello~ It's been years, and I mean years, since I've played on this site. I had the urge to check back in today. To my dismay, my pet has been renamed from Ours to Ours_240. Any idea why the name change? Also it is now saying "Birthday: December 31st, 1969", and I'm sure the site hasn't been around that long. Any insight into this would be appreciated, thanks. :)

If your pet got renamed that's because, if you're inactive for a certain time, people can unfortunately snatch your pet's name for theirs... hence the random numbers at the end.

As for the birthday I think that's a common glitch, for instance if you save avatar "outfits" in your wardrobe and check them out in the Shared Outfits page, the outfit creation date can be December 31st, 1969 as well. Don't take my interpretation seriously though, I'm unsure.

Speaking of wardrobe outfits, your avatar seems to be missing!

after two years of inactivity, pet names and usernames become available for other people to use, and the originals get numbers added to the end. the good news is that you can rename your pet for free on the pets page by clicking the arrow in the top corner of your pet's info box and choosing "change name."

as for the birthday, that's a glitch that occurs when the birthday isn't correctly recorded and the value "overflows" to -1, which causes it to display that date. though i haven't heard of this happening AFTER a pet is created; are you sure it didn't always say that? either way, some people consider glitched birthdays to be quite desirable!

i thought it was after one year of inactivity that your account gets flagged as inactive and the message shows up telling other users that your account will clear in one year. so a total of two years.

oh, i guess so.
