If you pound a pet and you do not remove the treasure chest items do they stay with that pet?Also if it has weapons you battle with do they stay if you do not remove them to inventory?found my answer but cant remember my pin

when you abandon a pet you get this message:

You are about to abandon Devil Forgemaster and send them to the Adopt R Us. You may not be able to get your pet back if you do this! It costs 10,000 sP to abandon a pet, and your account must be at least 1 month old.

Abandoning a pet deletes all the items attached to that pet, clears its profile and removes its custom overlay if it has one. Due to cache, these may still show up for a few minutes on the pet's profile after the pet is abandoned. Please make sure to remove any items you want to keep and make a backup of your pet's profile before abandoning your pet. Staff CANNOT restore lost items or profile content.

Abandoning a pet also removes 10% off of any stat over 2000 (strength, defense, hp, speed, level only). If your pet is a bumbus or a bhakoru, it will turn into a common kumos when pounded. If your pet is colored hydrus, it will lose its special colour.

It's not clear if Shards, Pylonics and Vials count as personal possessions. I gave the pet Views an Ice Shard to fight with. I then abandoned and re-adopted it, and the Shard is still there.

It SAYS items vanish and such... Yet I've adopted many pets with items still in TC or coding left intact. Also you can do transfers of pets directly to other players. However the 10% off stats of 2k or more always applies

i know profiles didn't used to be cleared, but i don't know how you'd get a pet with tc items still attached because i clearly remember forgetting to remove a pet's tc before abandoning them and realizing all their expensive items had just been deleted.

I didn't say this above, but I also put a junk something in the adopted, abandoned, and then adopted again just to see pet Views' Treasure Chest. This did disappear as I had expected and the Warning said, so I didn't mention it.

I remember when coding of the petpage didn't clear, I ended up accidentally adopting some instantly-freezable if you were caught with a profile like that pet. On more than one occasion, yikes! When they announced that the coding would go away I was greatly relieved. If you've been getting coded pages recently you should report this as a glitch.
