Why does it say "legacy" under my pets description? The Chibi Devonti Owner: Kristine Born: February 22nd, 2007 Adopted: February 22nd, 2007 (Legacy)

Legacy pets are ones that were created/adopted before the adoption date info was added to profiles and haven't changed owners since then. If I remember correctly, it defaulted to the birthdate and just got the (Legacy) added on. If you adopt it out, that tag will disappear and the adoption date will update to the day the new owner receives the pet. Basically, it just shows you're either the original owner/creator or have had that pet a long time.
