it started out when I found a mothers day card that says "As it's mothers day, mum said if anything needs doing go to sodoffanddoityourself.com" and so for a laugh i brought the domain (£25 isn't a laughing matter but hey!) The site is published but takes 48 hrs for public to be able to access it. I used Wix to host the website since it isn't intended to be a business site / professional site etc.

I just need ideas on what to have on it .

I don't know whether to make it a serious "dummy" site to help with running a house + being an adult or whether to make it joky like;

Things to do for mothers day ​ - Make breakfast in bed. Bring her a cuppa then eat breakfast

• Buy chocolates and flowers...keep the chocolates for yourself and give her the flowers

• Run a hot bath complete with candles and champagne...and enjoy the luxurious soak!

• Book a table to the most fanciest restaurant in town, get mum to dress up in her best frock - glitter and all...then go by yourself.

All ideas welcome!

I like the idea of advice on how to do things on your own, "like an adult". You can even search for advice in old books on how to run a household - that's where real knowledge is ;) For instance, tips on how to iron clothes, how to do laundry, and other such stuff.

make sure to advertise with a link to the latest entries in your signature. it will take a while for the site to be caught by search engines. and i do recommend you try to monetize it - adwords or something. good luck!
