I'll start by saying this is in no way meant as anything against and because Destiny has been great about getting on when they can and make sure the quests reset at some point and I'm sure Bug is working on trying to figure out the issue but.....well, it's still an issue.

Starting here we can see that the 3rd was the first day this became a problem. Bug manually reset things at 2:18pm site time on this day, but on the 4th, 5th and 6th (as evidenced by subsequent posts in the thread) Destiny reset quests manually around 8:45am site time and then didn't get to it today until almost 11:30am site time.

This is, quite frankly, unacceptable. Again I am in no way trying to say bad things about Destiny or Bug, but this needs to be addressed. When it is a known issue it should not take almost 9 hours to reset quests, if not longer. A single person on staff who is capable of resetting quests should be able to do that sooner. Someone should be able to check in even for a few minutes around midnight and make sure it's done on time.

On top of that, I did ask in that thread if there was any word on what was causing this and what, if anything, was being done about it. I received no answer, and as we are now well into the 5th day of the quests not resetting on time I have to ask again; what is causing this, and what is being done about it aside from Destiny doing their best to manually reset? It's not fair that it looks like they alone are having to scramble to do this and then taking the brunt of our, admittedly justified, anger over this subject.

Quests are a huge part of the site. Barring all the other things reporting as broken in that thread, quests are how most of us make our money and items that we sell for money. Wizard quests give us tokens to spend in other places, quest points for the shop, things of that sort. And now it's looking like not just myself but many others are having to miss out because they don't reset on time, which for me means that the extra quests tied to my GA are going to waste and my autopricer kind of is too because quests make up the bulk of my sellable items that I would like to price.

Can we please, please get some answers on this from someone?

Agreed. Quests aren't resetting until late afternoon/early evening in European time zones at the moment. Five days straight with no real acknowledgement that there's a problem. Not even an apology until today. No answer for the people asking what's going on. I love the staff on this site, they do a fantastic job most of the time, but someone's dropped the ball over this.

Also, as a note there are some things that is unable to reset and these things aren't getting reset at all, adding to the frustration.

Indeed. I appreciate that they are reporting those things but getting no updates on what, if anything, is being done about the stuff out of their control to reset that has, in some cases, been going on for weeks (like Fresh and Flavorful) is also frustrating. It would be really nice if the staff would say something on this matter rather than just leaving us in the dark as usual.

Yeah, this is getting really frustrating. Absolutely nothing against Destiny, Bug or anyone else on staff, but this situation is hard on people in 'other' time zones who aren't asleep from 0-9 AM Subeta time.

I live in Australia so 3-8 AM is usually the best time for me (it's my day off today) - then I go to bed, go to work and get home after the normal reset at midnight Subeta time. Am I supposed to rely on there not being a reset until past 8 AM again?

Thank you for a response, but no questions have been answered other than you are aware of this problem, which I expected you already were and were working on. And while I do appreciate that, the more pressing question is that going forward will someone be online at reset to handle quests until this is fixed? Or will we keep having to wait for Destiny to do it, which while also appreciated is clearly not the ideal for several reasons.

I'm in the same boat as ; midnight to 8am Subeta time is the best time for me to quest because of my schedule and time constraints. I have either not been able to quest or have had to scramble to quest the past 5 days because of this, and it's not fun. I don't want my GA quests going to waste because of this, which is an added frustration on top of everything. I'd like not to have to do that, and I find it hard to believe that not a single person on staff with the power to reset quests is capable of being here around midnight site time to make sure it happens at least close to time instead of 9 hours (or more) later.

I totally understand this, but maybe have a solution for the time being. Since you can't guarantee that someone will be online to reset it, then rather reset being at midnight, why not change reset time for a time that someone will always be online until the problem is fixed. Tonight is a good example of what happens to those of us that quest from midnight to whatever. I'm usually on from around midnight until 3 or 4 am Subeta time and that is when I do my quests. The last few nights the site didn't reset, so I was able to do my "yesterday" quests that didn't reset. Then tonight the site did reset and I lost out on my quests. So all I'm suggesting is that reset give everyone in all time zones an equal 24 hours. Thanks for listening and for all you do. I know it's a tough job.
