So this year we only had one new Sweetheart pet. Which is fine, last Masquerade we only had one new Steamwork pet, and the Survival before that we only had one new Graveyard pet (even if it was a Blob), and this winter we only had one new Nostalgic pet (also a Blob, as you can tell I’m not too keen on them, for two reasons that I won’t go into right now becaise it's not relevant to this). But not one new Graveyard pet this Survival, even after having the potion in the Token Shop? I can't help but find that disappointing. I get that the artists have a lot to work on, but I wouldn't be as bothered about this as much if you didn't stick to specific holidays and seasons with certain colours.

If you're planning on releasing a new Graveyard pet off-season or during Morostide, I'd be happy to wait a bit longer. I just thought I should make a post about it in the hopes that it will increase the chances of seeing one at all this year, like the time when someone made a post about not getting any new Angelic pets last Winter, and then we had a whole month themed around it where we got some new pets and revamps.

(I’m sorry if I come off as entitled, I tried to be as reasonable as I could while giving feedback).

There are 6 pets not currently available in Graveyard and 11 not currently available in Nostalgic (out of 75 species total, assuming all my math checks out). Not that that alone is much of an excuse to not release pets (or revamp some of those poor old Graveyard ones) but there aren't a Whole Lot of choices available for some colors, so it makes sense that the blob, one of the newest (and also most creative but still simply designed pets who does in fact have an artist) pets would get more releases than pets who come in all or most colors.

That said, I'm not sure which pets do or don't currently have artists, if it would even be possible to release certain new pets in certain colors (who knows, maybe the six missing Graveyard pets all lost the artist lottery) but I'm also disappointed to not at least see a revamp since Graveyard would've been an "in season" color during Survival

...but also I think the art department has had some setbacks recently iirc so I understand, but would still love to see some new (or renewed) Graveyard friends

I would have been fine with at least a revamp as well, I'm sure there are lots of older pets that need them.

I just remembered that some Hydrus pets are in need of revamps as well, and we didn't get any new Hydrus pets or revamps last year. I hope we do this year.

Like I said, it's the rule of sticking to holidays and seasons that bothers me, since we have to wait a year for new pets in certain colours, only to not get any at all and have to wait yet another year. I think that complaint is why they had the Angelic monthly theme last year, which was really good. They also bypass the rule with Storm pets by releasing them outside of spring on Mondays (Tempest doesn't like Mondays so it rains more).

I also noticed we didn't get any new Glade pets last year, but I'm assuming that's because they want to release more Harvest versions of existing Glade pets first.

Thanks for letting us know, now I'm more assured that just because the seasons and holidays have passed doesn't mean we've missed our chances until next time.
