Where do I link usernames for that shoutout thingy? It's been a LOOOONG time since I used any forum text shortcuts, or whatever you call them... Also, if anyone knows a good post for 'how to's on things like this, please share! Very helpful stuff ;)

if you want to ping them you put an @ in front of their username. If you just want a link it is

Ok, so did get it right. I tried it in a different post, but the active link and appearance don't show on my end. Maybe it's just on my side.

the active link may not show if you edited, or it may become inactive if you edited. You may need to un-do this by editing it once to put a space in and then editing it again to reconstitute your code.
