Back question - if I get infected, will I be able to do alchemy? I inquired about that before this month began, and was told that I'd have to wait until Feb. because only zombies are allowed.

If you're infected, you can get an unobstructed view of your virus at the Healer here and you can check the Strain Tracking thread here to see what stage you're at if you have a 2020 strain. If you didn't get one of this year's strains then SubetaLodge has most of the past viruses and their stages here.

And yes, when you're infected you can do alchemy.

Once your virus reaches the final stage it will unlock that skin in your wardrobe. You can only do alchemy while you're infected/wearing a zombie skin. You can put the skin on or take it off whenever you want once you unlock it though!
