I can recall the ability to search wardrobe items by colour. I'm sure this was removed, but is there still some way to search by colour? Is there a collection of drawers someone might share?

I'm not sure about drawers or whatever, but there's no official way to search by color :(

You'd have to manually set drawers up and organize them by color if you want to be able to do that

You can't borrow other people's drawers. You would have to go in and manually set up the drawers you want and organize your own items into them, and if you want to keep organizing by color, for instance, you'd have to go in and sort the items as you add them to the wardrobe
