I haven't really been active on this site so I might have missed something.

Has anything been said about this year's Survival festivities? Is it going to happen? When? Anything like that?

Part of the reason I'm curious is because I'm thinking about turning one of my pets back into a sweetheart harvester, but I'd feel really foolish buying a ton of sweethearts only to be getting them for free right and left immediately after. I no longer need the potion thanks to , but I'm still curious about its status!

Nothing yet, but if I had to guess, it would probably start this weekend, or shortly after. It's a mid-February holiday, so they're probably just adding some finally touches to things. Staff is usually pretty vague about exact details to give themselves the time they need.

So yeah, you'll want to wait.

Yeah, I know holiday start dates can be pretty flexible. :) But I also figured there's a slight chance they might not do it at all one year, which is why I was wondering if anything had been said.

I personally think that with reoccurring events, no news is good news.

It should still be happening as far as I know. If they were skipping it, I think they would have told us already because otherwise we'd all be disappointed if told nearer to when it was supposed to happen.

I'm hoping it will start on the 15th this year, but it could start as late as the 17th with it being a leap year. I mainly hope 15th cause I might want to go out next Monday but I'll also want to be online when it starts so I can get a virus right away.

Yeah, Survival is usually only 2 weeks long anyway, so I'm not really expecting it to start until sometime around next weekend.

The site has been pretty stable, even though I know they're still working on certain issues, so I don't see any reason why it would have been canceled or anything like that.

It said in a news article yesterday Survival starts tomorrow (so today now) so keep a lookout for it!
