I might be mistaken, but at one point or another I thought there was a user-created guide to the best/worst quests to do. I.E. what has the (general) best return for what you're spending. I can't seem to find it, if it exists. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
The best in my opinion would be Item Hunt(pays pretty well later/you only can do 5 per day) Shinwa - gives stat boosters sometimes that sell really well Saggitarius Carl- his pay is pretty good and it's rare but you can get subq items Wizard - the tokens sell really well
I like Quentin's quests because of the mage amulets. They can either be sold or you can risk a chance at getting tomes which sell really well. But getting a tome is risky. You might get nothing from your amulet. But Quentin's pay can be cruddy.
For most quests i try to spend up to 25k max on each mission. I might go a little more depending. But that way i'm not losing out on too much sP. Sag is the only one i spend more on because mostly the items he wants is 60k or something. So i aim to spend about 60k cuz his payout can go as high as 100k. So you make a decent profit if you stay under 90k for him. Item Hunt is another i may spend a little more on if i know i'm gonna get a good profit.
Okay, I appreciate the help then! I'll give that a try. :)
Any guide that once existed is so far out of date, it wouldn't help. Based on my experience doing all quests most days. Blue: If you want blue building items, its cheapest to do the quests than buy the items from users. Carl: Asks for expensive food, gives good sP, crap items except when he sleeps (0-3 sleep results in 15 quests) Cinthia: Gives only sP, asks mostly cheaper items, but also asks for some game prizes/retired items, that can be more expensive to buy. Cursed: usually asks for cheaper items, gives back cheapish items and a middle amount of sP. You'll probably make a bit of profit. Library: can get pretty expensive, but gives nice rare items and very little sP. If you take some time to restock rare books before questing he's well worth doing. Maleria: not worth doing. She was worth doing for a while, but then they tweaked her and made her useless. Pete: usually asks for cheap items, gives you cheap items and not much sP, but you'll usually make a small profit. Quentin: usually spend more than you make, but if you sell or use the amulets (and sell the tomes) you'll make a profit. Or if you have a battle pet who needs stats, its probably the cheapest way to get boosters after shinwas. Sarah: you can get ~500K if you do 15 quests, she only asks for 1 item, generally really cheap and very fast to do. Saggitarius: eh...decent sP, but his items are pretty expensive in user shops. Wizard: decent sP and if you do then quickly, 20pt token.
Finally: I try to do all 155 quests (Blue to Wizard) every day to get those sweet, sweet morty cards. I get 0-5 cards from doing all quests, which is 0-125 CSC. I often spend more than the quest will return simply because of the value of the morty cards.
On average I make 5M when I do all quests, that's without selling any items, purely what I get questing. The only time I skip quests is when I'm asked for brand new items that might be selling for millions. When the site is running smoothly its takes me about 1.5 hrs to do all 155 quests.
Other quests (these don't give morty cards): Battle: Well worth doing if you training a battle pet, otherwise not. Major Drills: I like doing them, you can get old Subeautique items. Skip any slots quests that have a sP requirement. Beyond that do what you enjoy doing (pete says, subeku, etc). Shinwa: boosters - always good for use or selling. There is no downside to doing shinwas quests, just have to start with her because she sends you to other questers and if you already did them for the day, you fail her quest. If one of the quests she asks for is too expensive, cancel it and start another, there is no penalty. The Oracle: if you need the achievements do them. If you have a high tier pet, they are really worth it (my active pet costs 80K to train and she gives 3-7 (ish) stats to your active pet) Item hunt: worth it up to level 50, after which you need to evaluate based on what's asked for.

Wow, excellent advice. o Ao
I've got a bit of sP to burn, I'll see if I can try your method and see if that works! Thanks so much! ;w;
All quests are worth doing, even if the quest grantors gave you no reward at all. Quest points items can be sold for sP if you are willing to advertise as selling your quest points (and not the item itself, because someone might not want any one specific QP thing). Morty Cards can be sold even if you don't want the CSC. The cumulative amount you can get from selling these is more than your reward for completing any random quest.
If you have limited time, do the ones that amuse you. Maleria awards by rarity and rarity doesn't have as much to do with value of the item as some would insist. If you do Battle Quests you get weapons dumped on you to use with her for free. With the high reward she gives for high rarity items she averages out decent, IMO.
Thank you for that insight. I love getting opinions from multiple sources. I'll keep that in mind as well. :D
yeah i just do them all unless something is absurdly expensive; i don't really have a "hard limit" but you get a sense very quickly of about how much sP you'll get from each quest giver, and even if i think i might take a nominal sP loss, there are still item and quest point rewards so it's almost always worth doing.
if i had to put numbers to it, i don't think i'd spend more than 100k on a non-saggi quest, and no more than 500k on saggi - but it's rare enough that i don't really have to think about it much.
Good to think about too. I suppose I'll get a better feel for it as I go along and do them more. What I might consider my "limit" on spending so to speak.
Really? You must be getting much higher payouts than I do. I have a hard time spending 100k on a Saggi quest and would never spend that much on a quest from anyone else. My Saggi payouts are generally between 100k and 150k with the occasionally outlier on both the low and the high end.
EDIT to say Saggi never asks me for anything that would even cost 500k unless it would be brand new. Same with the other quest givers, never near 100k.
i used to have a more systematic approach but these days i almost never get quests that seem overpriced or make me feel the need to quit, so i have a hard time putting numbers to it. i just kinda do them all except under extreme circumstnces like "carl asked for a 2 million sP mushroom" or "mori wants a newly-released item that isn't even in shops."
