This came up when I tried to make a new set of scrolls:
Database error - send this to Keith: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1 (SQL: SELECT spellId, itemid FROM item WHERE spellId IN ())

Was it a specific scroll and did you have all the ingredients in the right amounts?
Cause I made one: Snape has created the Gate of Evil Scroll successfully!
Dexter by ❤
Beside: Your Scroll Library I clicked: Create New Set and got the error.

Is this still happening?

Hey ! Are you still getting an error when trying to create scrolls?
Pinging again in case you missed the last one. :)
Oh sorry, I saw it but I must have clicked away and got distracted. When I click Create New Scroll now, the page raises up so it's black beneath the menu that says "Challenge an Opponent | Armory | Scrolls |" etc.. However if I go to my scrolls there is an unnamed empty new scroll that's been created there. Clicking Edit Set takes me to, again, a page with nothing below that menu.

- checking in again in case you missed the last one. :)
I was using Chrome at the time.

Is that the only page you're having issues with? Have you tried clearing your browsers cookies/cache?
I tried to replicate, but can't on both Chrome and Firefox -- the page loads fine on both.
Battle Arena > Scrolls > Create New Set
