Apparently despite my reasonably long amount of time spent on this game, I missed whatever point in time Euclid had been turned into a Wyllop. I tried Googling around to see if there were any official NPC images of him from that time but could only find some commission art.
Does anyone know if it was mentioned anywhere like in old news articles what the overall situation was, and if he had any official NPC art from that time? I've just been curious, and stumbling across a plushie of his Wyllop form brought the matter back to the front of my mind is all. xD
I don't know much about this cause I hadn't joined yet, but apaprently he was originally a Wyllop but then had a revamp and was changed into a human (Or whatever humans are on Subeta). Apparently the staff came up with a lore explanation for it, that he was a human to begin with and his rival Ian turned him into a Wyllop, but I think it was only something that staff said in the forums and didn't really state in the news or Subetapedia or anything. I'm also not sure how or when he was changed back.
You might be able to find art of him as a Wyllop on the Subeta wiki, I don't know. The older images aren't really saved anywhere. I know from the wiki that Jim used to be a Charlie, but I don't think there was an explanation for him being changed into a human.
Yeah, I checked the Wiki, but it only has his pre-revamp art there, which I'm pretty sure I remember from my time playing here, since apparently he got the makeover sometime in 2015.
Both a comment in that same news post and on the Subeta Wiki mention him apparently being a wyllop for 5 years, but besides that I haven't been able to find any information on it, WHICH I FIND WEIRD AND FRUSTRATING. 😭
The "canon" seems to be that his little snake-minion-thing was given to him while he was a Wyllop, which I'd imagine would mean that his pre-revamp art was still post-wyllop form(since he has a snake in the old art as well), so it'd mean going back even farther to figure out if he had any art even older than that, I suppose.
