[item2=Tarot of Doom, Despair, Desperation and Depravity]

It says Tier 3, and as I've understood it, only weapons have tiers. When I click on it in my inventory, it doesn't give me the option to equip the weapon and I don't see any information about damage / defense / healing. So, then why does it say Tier 3?

You're right. It is a weapon, but seems to be missing all its weapon indicators on its usage page right now, which is odd. SubetaLodge has its Weapon information, and you can still use Quick Stock to place it in the Armory instead, so it can still be used as a weapon at least.

It may have been one of the items made read-able/book-able in a largeish change made not too far back, and if so maybe that could have caused some interference with its page's prior functions. Seems like a good thing to put somewhere in the Bugs forum about. :o

Some items were previously weapons and still list the tier information, but they aren't anymore. If there's no option to add the item to your armory (from the inventory, not from quickstock), it's most likely no longer a weapon

You can also confirm it in the item directory

As I mentioned above, I was able to successfully add this item to my armory through the quickstock.

EDIT: Not sure if your post was edited to mention quickstock; but unless you're just adding extra information for clarity, the Tarot cards are still considered a weapon according to the Armory, and just seems to be a mistake that you can't see its information through your inventory.

Items that are genuinely no longer to be considered weapons sound like they need to be reported to be cleared of their Tier information to avoid confusion, although I don't know what Ex-Weapons there are that would need that. As long as you can successfully add it to the Armory and it behaves as a functional weapon though I wouldn't consider it an ex-weapon.

It ... would still be a bug though? Because I shouldn't have to go through quick stock? So ... I should report this? Or?

yes I would report it. There are other never-were-weapons that quickstock into the Armory too, so look and see if that thread is still active first IMO.

Somehow I wasn't aware of non-weapons that could be put into the Armory before. Was/is there a definitive way to tell that they weren't meant to be weapons though? Like, not having any traits or icons attached to them?

This one does have a specified amount of Dark damage attached to it, which makes it seem to be intentionally a form of dark-magic weapon. Are we sure it's not meant to be a weapon?

there is a list of the not-ever-weapons, somewhere in the misty lost Forums. I'm not saying the Tarot never was a weapon, it probably was. There were a set of weapons that were un-weaponized during the last battle coliseum revamp. The category error in the programming is the same sorta thingy between the two though, because when folks last complained about the not-ever-ones showing up, some relict weapons were found too.

I went through my Armory because I had a few in mine, and you (apparently) you used to have to ask staff to remove them and I never did that due to me being easily amused by them being there. They're not there now, so I have no examples for you.
