What is the best way to sell exoensive hard to get items? Trades? My Shop? And if I put them in the shop or trades where can I let people know about it? Thanks Kristine

you can make a thread in the advertising forum to advertise your available items and what sort of price you're looking for, if you're offering discounts, etc. doing that, i'm not sure it makes much of a difference whether it's through your shop or through trades.

I typically just toss things in my shop and check the price every now and then. More expensive items tend to take a while to sell, though that obviously depends on what the item is and what you consider "a while". I've had a few 1m+ things sell in my shop recently because people are buying Lumi gifts, but some of those items have also been in there for months.

I don't typically seek out buyers, but you may have better luck posting in the advertising forum and offering a discount off of the shop search price if you're looking to sell things fast

It also depends on what lind of payment you want. If you are looking for straight up sP then your shop is fine. But if you are willing to take other currencies like csc r tokens, etc. then trades are where you want to go. There is also the possibility that someone might be willing to trade things you want of a similar value.

During Luminaire, questathons, or new Achivement releases folks have extra sP to throw around. It doesn't matter if they're actual quest or achievement items that you are selling, it's just that the sP will be flowing.

I find throwing it in a shop, going into it once or twice a day and dropping the price until it sells to be the most effective during those times. It has to be a noticeable discount, so dropping by one sP won't make your sale.
