Is there a specific store to buy tree decorations from? Or a list somewhere with pics of all ornaments available? And how do you unlock a tree background? I am soooo confused Tyia

Currently, the only way to unlock a tree backdrop is to pay for it on the backdrop page

This page has a list of all the ornaments. You can get them from which you can buy for 2k sP each from Melody after collecting her gift for the day. They give between 2-5 random ornaments if I remember correctly c:

there are some traditional lanterns in the Cavern of Curios and they are restockable ornaments. There aren't many ornaments that are not available via the Old Box or the Cavern. Those that are left were prizes for special events or Free Gifts or other one-time things.

The Old Box thing is not a just once a day thing like Melody's Luminaire gifts are. You can buy one every ten minutes or so. I use the Mallarchy Pond game in the Carnival as a timer because it's every twelve minutes. If you have the ~40K sP that they are running for now on the open market and are in a hurry, you can also buy the Old Box of Ornaments from other users. Dunno what it's like this year but IME you can usually sell the ornaments you don't want for more than that cost.
