Hiya. I just signed up to this game a couple of days ago and I just bought a potion to change my pet's colour. I keep getting this error:
"Your pet has changed into a Storm Devonti!Database error - send this to Keith: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1 (SQL: SELECT * FROM feed_categories WHERE ident NOT IN())"
And then when I go to see my pet he is still 'common' and has not changed at all. I am very confused. I don't understand what a syntax is or who Keith is. I signed up just because I saw a Storm Devonti and wanted to have one too, ha. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Welcome to Subeta !
is the owner of this site, and he is also a programmer here. There is a thread in Problems & Bugs that you could post in here . There used to be a thread started by him but I did a find on his name and I don't see it there any more?
Even if you don't do this you should file a TIcket in Help and a UA should be able to color your pet Storm for you. The site underwent some maintenance and I know that coloring pets still works just this particular one didn't for you. Even if this particular color or portion is somehow broken they should get you your potion back so you can do it when it does get fixed.
The ticket page asks me to post in the bugs forums for my particular issue so I'll go down that route. Thank you for your help! :)
you are welcome. Did they link you to an already existing topic, or did they ask you to make a new one?
The ticket page linked me to the general Problems and Bugs Forums. As for the forum thread I posted on, no one is yet to respond to me.
I'm not sure how long replies usually take on this site but I'd assume I ought to wait at least 24 hours before pushing further and other people have questions they need answering too. :)
I reread your above messages by the way and my potion still remains in my inventory despite the confirmation of the colour change followed by the error message. Perhaps it has to do with my account age? Although it would probably help if I understood what that error message says. :p Maybe tomorrow I'll try a different browser or think of some other things that may be causing it.
What kind of maintenance did the site undergo? Was it like a revamp? I always like seeing the history/updates of websites.
