I am not sure if you are the one to ask or if this is even the right forum to start this thread but I had some questions. Hoping you can point me in the right direction if not answer some of my questions. Thank you for your help.
Question During the Morostide event the items from last year were not re-released like they are normally. After some searching I found out there were plans to release these items somehow during Fireside.
Question In the news post about the beginning of Fireside there was a tip that Fantine would be offering new food later. With only 6 days remaining I still haven't given her a single pumpkin. The timing of holidays this year here and offline has just left me feeling impatient. And in this instance wondering if it was forgotten.
Question Black Friday the announcement said that chance machines were discounted 20% but so far as I can tell the price on the page hasn't changed. So far the only forum I have seen mention this was someone who had tried their luck and hadn't gotten the discount asking what they should do. I haven't seen the prices change since then. What are the original prices for the machines supposed to be? Have they been discounted already or is this a glitch?
these are only questions that paid staff would know. MiniMods like are usually just volunteers who moderate the forum that their name is listed as. Not to say they don't know for sure, but probably not. Most of the answerers here in Help & Questions are users just like you. We've just been around longer and know general things about how the site works.
My guess is that they will announce the first two when they announce them, and filing a Ticket in Help wouldn't do anyone any good. However on this might work or someone else who does chance machines and who is braver than you or me might know.
For your first two questions, they may have been trying to wait a bit to get the site more under control since they were already releasing a bunch of stuff at once.
We might still get something to do with the 2018 Morostide items, it just might be a little later than they had originally planned. I know had said they were planning on doing something with those items and the Delphi Carnival sometime around Black Friday, but that was before they did the site maintenance and server move and all the issues that came with that. So they could have just decided to push it back a bit and make it a lower priority than fixing the lag and other things.
But of course, I'm not a staff member so I don't know for sure. This is just a guess based on what I've observed from general comments and things.
