Is the Lizard Minion Trap worth the sP?

Are they infinite use? And do they only trap Lizard Minions or can they trap other rare minions?
Infinite use, yes. You leave it locked in your inventory.
As far as the lizard minions go, I'm not completely sure. I don't think you can catch them any other way besides challenging the lizard minions in the battle coliseum.
@ Heidi It actually doesn't catch the lizard minions themselves. There's a random event where it'll have a lizard minion carrying a random R99 item. The trap gives you a 50% chance of catching it, but if you also have the Lizard Minion Repellent, then you're guaranteed to get the item.
You can keep them both locked in your inventory permanently; they don't get used up during the event.
Oh I didn't answer your main question. They're eventually worth it. Since they can be used over and over, they'll eventually pay for themselves. It really all depends on your luck.
I have both the items safely locked in my inventory and I rarely get the event where I get an item and if I get one, it's generally items worth around 70k. It's not much but the satisfaction of getting something for me personally is already worth it.
You might be a lot more lucky than I am also! :)
It is not possible to catch a lizard minion itself if you have both of them 'up and running'. You will always get the item instead.
Some users like Achievements, and whether or not the trap pays off for you sP-wise, there's an Achievement from catching lizard minions. (I got my trap and spray very early in the game and they were definitely worth it ten years ago).
The reason that it seems like it's "not worth it" is because there are several events/games/activities in Subeta that generate rarity 99 items. So in terms of you being able to snag these items yourself for free, without using the items or playing the games etc. is not very likely as r99 is as rare as things get. But because all these alternatives DO exist, r99 items are typically cheaper in terms of sP-cost in usershops than any item that is between r80-r98. So worth it also depends on whether you want the item.
