I thought both Frankenpie and Frankencluck pieces were coming from Crypts? My memory tells me I have gotten two that way, but it's been years since I've seen another one so maybe I have misremembered.

Did they come back via Crystal or Free Shop? Because they're cheaper now than I paid for them eight years ago.

I'm fairly certain they have put all of the Frankencluck pieces in the crystal shop at some point, but I'm not sure when the last time they did that was.

I also found this news comment from when they made changes to the Crypsts prizes back in 2014:

But there are comments from other users saying that they've never found a Frankencluck piece randomly, only the Frankenpie pieces, and that the Frankencluck pieces were prizes for reaching the end.

That was also like 5 years ago and IDK if things have changed again since then. So I'm honestly not really sure myself.

thank you for helpfully finding that post, I was looking for it and did not. My guess is that if Frankencluck pieces are entering the Subetan economy it is by some other means and I'm just wrong about it. It's likely as you say that those pieces selling for cheap are Crystal Shop item and so they were IMO speculation buys.

I'm in fourth place on both HSTs for Crypts and have 35 treasure points there. Frankencluck isn't in the list of prizes that are available there now and I haven't gotten any item prize for completing it anytime since the treasure points system that allows you to pick was implemented.
