Hello! I am a new user and I was wondering if someone would help me out. I have been getting alchemy points from reading books. How do I get into the Alchemist? It says only Zombies are allowed. Do I need to become a Zombie?

You'll have to wait until the event 'Survival' before you can get a zombie skin. That'll be in late February!

The alchemy points from reading books are not used in the Alchemist's shop! The amount of alchemy points your pet has actually determines the strength / number of scrolls that they can bring into the battle coliseum.

As for the Alchemist's Shop, it requires items such as [item=Alchemy Token: Bean Bag] [item=Layer Card: Ankles] to make combinations that create brand new items.

Thank you for clarifying that! I thought the higher your alchemy skill the more items you could make.

I don't entirely remember if there is a level in the Alchemist's Shop (there might be though) but book reading doesn't effect that if there is. Book reading is entirely for battle purposes as far as I'm aware!

There is an alchemy level, and it does determine what you can make using alchemy, but it comes entirely from making items in the Alcove and is tied to your account. Your active pet plays no role in creating items in the Alcove.

Alchemy points are tied to each pet. You get one AP per 16 intelligence, and is used as a scroll budget for battling. Each scroll has an AP cost to it, and you can use whichever and however many scrolls you want as long as their total cost doesn't exceed your pet's AP.
