Between my son starting Kindergarten, my daughter turning 2 (yes its like a terrible tantrum 2), work woes, family issues and everything else we also had 2 put our 2 cats down. Our Oliver (KittyCat on here) we had to put down in July. Hardest thing we ever had to do but he was in heart failure and we just couldn't imagine him in pain not knowing when it would happen again despite medications. He was our baby. Raised him as a bitty baby kitten. He just turned 10 that same month. Then just today (10/28) we had to put our other cat Autumn down. She we took in in 2013 as a adoption. I wanted a calico and she looked so lonely. She was 9/10yrs old at the time and front paw declawed. She looked so lonely and we knew no one would adopt her due to age. Her family moved and didn't want to take her with them and that broke our hearts.
Our son doesn't know quite yet since it happened while he was at school. She (Autumn) was getting there in age and just declining since our Oli died. We knew it would happen but wasn't expecting like this. Last time he knew he asked where is orange kitty? It took a few days. We will see how long it takes this time. Our daughter just ocassionaly meows and says what sounds like kikikitty-ish
Then I've also been feeling some badbouts of anxiety and depression here n there. ( if I'm quiet this is all why. Things are just hard right now. Hoping its a phase. )
hugs I'm here if you need.
