So I was wondering if this was allowed. I have a Jackyl, I know it hasn't appeared for many years. I don't want to sell it because its part of my collection of skelly minions. However, I was wondering if it was okay to let people use it for the achievement (assuming they have the other very expensive minion which I don't have) for a small profit.

Id set up a trade for the full price (in case they did decide not to return it I could buy another) and then trade back and keep the agreed-upon amount.

Overall no. But many others loan out achievement items or sets for no fee whatsoever. So odds might not be strong that people agree to pay for something others do for free. One user loans out all the weapons, for free, a few times a year to let others get the full of power achievement and those weapons aren't cheap.

what she said, but also very important: when there is an issue about the Rules of Subeta you are much better off filing a Ticket in Help about it. All of us who hang here are pretty smart about this game, but most of us are not staff and it's better to not risk your account.

I would file a ticket to be sure, but I’ve done a lot of item lending in the past and, for a number of years now, the rule has been that we are not allowed to ask for tips, i.e. make profits off of lends. If someone wants to give us a tip, it has to be their own choice.

[edit]I believe said in the past this was so people wouldn’t be restricted from borrowing based on their ability to pay.
