I dunno if we ever knew anything more about Liam and Lily Lace other than they are fashion goth dolls who are brother and sister. They're among some of the older items on the site so maybe they're tributes to some of Keith's goth teen friends?

NPC Quentin's in Shadowglen and they're all goth-y. NPC Rumi is punk, and she presumably is from Veta like her dad. NPC Vanya makes dolls.

It's more like Liam replaced somebody's OC. There used to be an item called Ladron on a Leash. Item: Overlay: Ladron was the original character of the artist who drew it. (Jackdog, I think? At least, that's what she used to go by on Deviantart.) The item was changed to Liam on a Leash at some point, either because the artist left or because the site decided to step back from staff items. (Which was a thing at one point. There were a slew of items released that were made for staff members. The Dream Dragon used to be Debilees Dream Dragon, for instance.) See how similar the item images are? Liam's sister, Lily, came some time after the revamp.

I think they're now known as picopepin :D

I love these tidbits of Subetan history, I remember it being changed! There was a period when ye-olde custom items were switched from being very user-specific to more general. What a time.
