Or just the Jaxon specials? Ive been using it since the start of Morostide, and I am awash with all kinds of minions except any of the special ones. Yet I know others who have found trance 3 or 4 times! Am i doing something wrong, or does rng just hate me?

I think it's just the special minions, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I've had the minion nip equipped for the whole holiday so far and I haven't found an unusual amount of minions (looking in my gallery, looks like 8 non-special minions compared to 4 special ones)

Are you looking in the right part of the pumpkin patch for Trance? The special minions each have one specific area they hide in, but other items can be found in any section, so if you're jumping around to different areas that could skew things too

It's supposed to work on all the minions. But my RNG has sucked this event so I think the nip is just plain broken.

Then yeah, I think it's just RNG, unfortunately. I know either last year or the year before, I finally found the special minion within the last couple of days of Morostide. I hope Trance shows up sooner than that for you c:
