My pet Dhalia now has an underscore and numbers, something I'd never do. Dhalia_532, how did this happen??

If your account is inactive for a year or longer, your username and pet names become available for someone else to take. You should get a free name change for every pet name that was changed though

To add to what said - the nice thing is that the pet name Dhalia is now on an inactive account too. So you can get your petname back after all!
