Item Hunt clogs the Friend Feed, when one friend is playing Item Hunt it hides all other activity, since you do it five times. It's not interesting to know that my friend did level 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35.

Below you can choose if you would like to see an option on your feed or not. For example, checking no for comments, means that you won't see any of your friends comments on your feed. ^ At least it sounds like you can "switch off" Item Hunt 😇

Friend feed as a whole needs some tweaks tbh. What if I want to see what one user posted, but I'm not interested in the flood of sales and commission posts some of my other friends make? I can't exactly ask them to disable pushing them to feeds, their other friends might find it useful!

We should be allowed to have more control over this imo. That, and possibly tweaking the list of things that get pushed to the feed.

The friend feed needs tweaked as a whole. I still get confused when Subeta's like, "Oops, this needs cleared! BLANK SPACE"

Agree that it could use some work! I like seeing friend forum activity, but it only takes one person playing the “ping the person above you” forum game to make the friend feed useless haha...

I wish I could Like some of the things I see, for example when a friend gets an achievement, adopting a new pet and so on.

The Friend Feed needs to be more social, a bit like a mini social media with some functions.. not something crazy.

Reminds me, is the page where you set & control what you push to your friends' feeds even listed anywhere? Because I did some skimming around the Friend Feed options and I didn't see it listed anywhere on the friend feed options. This page should be listed and labelled clearly.

Regarding the forums - maybe let me choose which forums I want to see in my friend feed?

To add to the list of things that should to be removed: comment, wishlist & wishlist remove (just tell me that a friend updated their wishlist if this needs to be a thing pls). Does trade creation even work? Like, does it pop up on friend feeds? Ditto for game score & the wishlist stuff. I think the achievement gain one works, but I'm not sure. Do battle wins even work? If they work, maybe have it push a friend feed post for every 5 instead of every win to cut down on feed spam. If they already push only for win 5, disregard this. :P Looks like they do! 😬

I know this page is from a time where Subeta tried to be petsite!Facebook, but I agree with - if they're going to keep it and use it as a place to track neat things like these, let us participate. I don't always feel like commenting someone, but a little ❤️ or 👍 option would be nice. Something to send the message of "I see the thing you're doing, I see the thing you've accomplished, and I approve. Keep it up!"

Battle wins also get pushed to the friend feed. And people farming tomes, amulets, and mod crystals will battle hundreds of times in quick succession. So.... umm... yeah. Spam. So very much feed spam.

The only things I currently have on my friend feed is forum reply/creation and achievement gain.

I just want to say sorry to all my friends who have the forum post in their feed - I post a long ass forum post every single day. Hope it doesn't annoy them too much. Its posted in a group forum, so hopefully they don't even see it!

I don't think the achievement gain thing works. One of my friends posted in the "what's your latest achievement" and I can see that, but did not get a notice that they got an achievement any time recently. It could have long since moved on, of course, but I don't recall seeing anything but forum posts in eons.

Hey, thanks for letting me know! Bummer that it doesn't work, but it's not surprising - the friend feed as a feature hasn't really been kept up to date. I was assuming it didn't work, but it's good to get confirmation!

I'm... not sure if it works or doesn't work for private forum group posts, though! I'll need to forscience that one with a friend later.

Battle wins are turned off in my feed privacy options. I’m not going to turn it on and spam my friends to test T_T

@ frederick I can't blame you. :'D Though it's not retroactive from what I remember, so that's a small mercy that makes testing easier!

I'll see if I can do a quick test-run of a few of these with a friend, then I'll report back.

[edit]OKAY, after being a dumbass & forgetting to set my own friend feed filter to display all the things, I can confirm these:

❌ game score does not work ❌ achievement gain does not work ❌ wishlist add/remove does not work. Tried with the hover, tried manually through the wishlist and neither worked. Tried adding/removing a wishlist category and that did not show in the feed either. ❌ creating a trade does not work ❌ private forum topics/replies for groups that you & your friends are both members of do not display on the friend feed

✔ private forum topics/replies do not display in your friend feed ✔ comment works ✔ buying from the token shop works ✔ battle win works - it displays one message for every 5 wins

I also double-checked with a friend and yep - the achievement friend feed is definitely broken too.

[edit]Also, not a scooby if the token shop purchases work with friend feed even though there's definitely an option for them. That's one to test during a restock!

Last time I checked it does because I was watching my sister play a couple months ago and my purchase showed up on her feed~

I wish there was a way I could delete myself from other peoples feed. I do not want people knowing my failing game scores or everytime I post on the forums. I don't use it myself. I feel like its a really weird feature.

Game scores don't show up on feeds, those are broken. That aside, you can absolutely remove yourself from other people's feeds!

I've posted the link in the thread already, but here it is again. If you set all of these things to "no", your activity won't pop up on anyone's friend feed.

Oh cool thanks a lot! I changed a bunch of it to no. Some of them I kept because I dont mind most of them. I never really pay attention to it so I never knew there were really options to remove myself.
