Hello there, I'm not really an expert in battles, but I'm trying to learn how it works and to complete my battle quests. Do you have any good suggestion for me in order to beat Som? My pets keep getting frozen. I must admit that I'm still using basic weapons and some basic potions... Thank you very much and greetings from Germany!

one thing you can try is modding your weapons with Blessing of Natural Armor crystals, this will sometimes provide a freeze protection blessing

Blessing of Natural Armor give you a steal blessing, what he needs is a for freeze protection ;)

actually BONA also gives freeze protection, I suggested that one because it’s readily available in the battle shop and cheaper in SS. I always assume newer battlers are pinching pennies, haha.

Really? interesting :o Do we know the activation rates? I’ve always used a mix of both against challengers that do both but if bona gives both it sounds like that’s more efficient

they’re both 10%, but parched does last 5 turns to BONAs 3 turns. But parched doesn’t block stealing. Personally I just use BONA so I can block both mechanics. [edit] 10% per crystal equipped as per the mod page

hmm 80% per turn for three turns almost seems like overkill with four slots per item. It also sounds like EORs are generally better for your blasters and freezers with one mod slot (without getting into probability theory
