Sorry if I missed how to being new here, but my OCD is kicking in regarding the vault and the utter mess that it looks.

You can organise your 100 active items by category but anything you send to the vault is basically thrown in a box in the corner and left in a big mess that you rummage through later. Can we not also have some organization by category in there as well. It would make finding an object faster. Yes I realise it has a search function but unless you know the exact name of the item its pretty useless. If I knew I was looking for a beanbag I could go to the beanbag list and find the specific one I am after - for example.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but you can create your own categories (ex. Beanbags, Stickers, Wearables, Potions, etc) and organize the items in your vault that way.

There's a line that says "Click here to edit your categories." on the top right of the vault page, right next to the green Search button. You can create or edit any categories you'd like from there, then assign each item in your vault to categories you've created.

It's not an automatic sorting solution like in your inventory of active items, but it will at least allow you to clean up the mess!

Thank you - this does help. i was able to make the categories but the move button only lists 'inventory' as a place to move them. How do I move the items into the categories.

Ah, it seems to move them after you leave the page or refresh - so used to action buttons.

You categorize the items via the dropdown under each individual item.

You can also create a shop and/or gallery that can be sorted by use. I know the inventory sorting isn't 100% accurate. I don't know about the sorting inside shops, but it can at least be done automatically for searching purposes (though if you want the items to stay sorted into those groups, you'd have to do the same thing with making categories and organizing them manually)

Thanks. I am happy sorting my vault now. Being able to do it your self does stop the random object like the inventory auto sort, such as some shells being categorized as 'toys' and others 'special'. It was just the link to make sub-cats for sorting was so small and not very explanatory to someone new - but once you realise how it works it's fine.

Don't know if that needs tweaking for newbies or if we just end up asking like I did.
