I'm a little confused in the items rarity.

An item that is rarity 175 (holiday), is it still possible to win somewhere? If no, should not pass to 101? Or in which cases it is rarity 101?

For example, this item is in rarity 175 but is from a 2018 event. Shouldn't it be 101?

At one point, if I recall correctly, R101 and R150 were used for holiday items. Both categories had A LOT of items in them, so more categories were added. As far as I can tell, having the holiday items sorted into a smaller category helps with giveaways, like the bonus items from quests and the free shop.

r101 is usually used now for items that used to be restocking items but they don't restock anymore, so they're retired in that sense.

The holiday items and game prizes and such always have a chance of being released again during that holiday or by some other method.

No items are ever really permanently retired anyway, so yeah. The different categories are mostly to help organize the items easier like mentioned. It just makes it easier for staff and users to find specific items when searching by rarity.

I think you got a werid answer because people took you at face value (and because Subeta rarities are also weird).

The fansite SubetaLodge does not agree with you about 2018, nor that it is an event. Special site events are different from holidays here on Subeta. Special site events happen only once or whenever staff feels like bringing them back. Holidays happen every year.

Trick or Treating is not a special event that happens once, it is a seasonal thing that happens every year as part of a holiday. In this case, Morostide. It is possible during ToT to get items from older years that get re-released. Therefore, this item is not retired. Unlike some other r175 items which can still be gettable after the holiday is over in a relevant shop, this one is not buyable with a special currency and requires timely user participation.

Which items and which year from, these are things we the users will not know ahead of time. Since this item was last seen in 2008 it appears to be from the price it's been awhile since it was last released OR when it did last get re-released SubetaLodge missed it

The final weird little kick to this, and it's Subeta so of course there is one, is that some Holiday items that are old get released via quest. So do your NPC Quentin quests this Morostide, and you may get this item, even if it isn't re-released via Trick or Treating.

I only participated in a ToT, and it was 6 years ago..!

So, do you think all the items I need are related to morostide (rarity 175), I should wait because they can then lower the price?

Usually Morostide brings back the previous years TOT/Pumpkin Patch items that go out again through TOT and Pumpkin Patch and ones OLDER than that go out randomly through quests during different holidays (like we had for the anniversary celebration last month)

I've yet to see a TOT/Pumpkin Patch year where super old items go out through the same way they originally came out, they're usually bonus quest prizes for limited times.

what said about really old old items going awol is good advice and this is my own observation also. However, users have been badgering to re-release the (very old, and needed for Achievement) Candy Rings and she has strongly hinted that there will be a way to get them.

If she releases them, then other old old items might finally go out too. It's only a week to wait until Morostide. Me, I'd wait. But like Disasters said its not a super-high chance. sP is only funny money, so spend it where and how you will.
