I'm in such a good mood right now because this month is the best!
My favorite manga is getting a anime on netflix and it's gonna be up this month. One of my favorite cartoons is getting another season this month. The next season in an anime I love is going to come out this month. And a cartoon one of my fave artists has been working on for years is going to come out this month too!
Anyway i wanted to start a conversation based solely on good things, or things that make you happy. To celebrate the excitement of it or something. :D
What a wonderful idea!
This month I'm doing my best to get into school, working with tutors for math to pass the test and I'll be seeing a therapist soon to help me with various transitions I'm trying to make and help me get over other stuff. I'm actually kind of excited to have all these things going for me despite the uncertainties! I actually like change, as I want to grow.
I'm also getting a part time job on the 12th, which will be great for schooling and therapy and productivity elsewhere! I got rid of my bed and brought my treadmill into my room and have space for exercise. I've also been meditating and reading more. This month is alllll about growth for me. Regardless of how things unfold, they will be learning experiences :)
...My dad cancelled our netflix so I can't be excited about shows, lol. However I have a Watch Later list on Youtube which I look forward to listening to and watching!
That is a lot you got going just for one month there, I hope it all goes well for you. Someone willing to work that hard deserves the best after all. ^^
I'm excited for Appleumpkin this coming weekend. It's a fall festival - the name is a combination of apple and pumpkin. There'll be vendors, food trucks, antique sellers, flea market, music in the streets, etc.
My kitten turned a year old and he's becoming more social with me. He doesn't throw as much of a fit when I pick him up for snuggles. He's also learning to behave when I let him out on our porch - he knows trying to go off the porch will result in being picked up and put back in the house. I hope he continues to make progress, especially on the snuggling front! I really wish he'd learn to be nicer to my elder cat too, his sister Emma.
This weekend I'm going to my first-ever renaissance fair in Kansas City (technically a suburb, but still)! I'm going to dress as a warlock, and my partner is going as my crow familiar. I've gotta see about hemming the costume lol, it was just something I bought from Spirit Halloween, but it's generic enough that I can add embellishments to it for other costumes, and I think it looks awesome.
Tonight, I'm going to teach a class on researching from a writer's perspective for a local free school that's just getting started. I'm super excited for that, but incredibly anxious as well. It's been a really, really busy week!
My budgie turned 8 years old recently - we celebrated with naps and fruit! I've gotten really good feedback on my latest art postcard, and my boss has been really pleased with my facepainting jobs recently. My relationship is going well, and he told me I'm basically accepted by the in-laws. I'm on a stable workout routine right now, and I'm eating healthier (or at least trying to).
My son is finally starting to talk! Well at least key phrases but its better than screaming at me. Plus since hes almost 2 he likes to play and do stuff now and attempt to draw. I'm so happy I can finally do things with him and share my love of art and music with him in a way he understands.
That's very exciting! Participating in activities together and sharing our passions is one of the things my husband and I are looking forward to when we have a child.
I'm happy that it's almost the end of 2019! This year, I started a new job, we moved to a new place and it was the best decision my husband and I made. I feel like we're in a much better position even if mortgage and rent payments get tough sometimes.
I finally managed to ask help for my hoarding problem and the cleaning is now almost done! I actually have space in my tiny apartment (: Also I love second-hand bargains, so finding out my 55 euro armchair retails for 840 new gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Yesterday the final piece for my Halloween costume/cosplay of Bo Peep from Toy Story 4 arrived!! ^w^ She's my favorite character of all time and Halloween is my favorite holiday! I'm really excited about this year bc it will be my first Halloween with my soulmate as well~! ^W^ Halloween is always my favorite, but this year just feels so special already! Can't wait~!!
Another exciting thing is that I was able to buy the Ned Funko Pop! ^w^ Ned is a character created by twenty one pilots for their Chlorine music video and I love him SO much!! He was a limited release item and I snagged one!
