I have no idea what his name should be and I've been wracking my brain for days. The concept is a 55(ish) year old man who lives in a lighthouse and studies stuff about ghosts while having young adults who he views as his kids to fight off said ghosts, as the old man doesn't have powers like the younger people do. He's very fatherly and an expert when it comes to the ghosts. His name is actually Cornelius, but that name is taken so I'm trying to find a word that can be used to describe him to make his pet.

I'm not sure what species/color I'm going to make him yet, but I'm leaning toward a Feli color. He's going to have cat ears and maybe a tail too, since that's common for people in this realm. I've looked up scholar and scholarly so far--I haven't gotten too far with my search yet.
