Name Your Car Day – October 2, 2019
Many people do not think about naming their cars. This makes cars sad. ;-) Name Your Car Day has been set aside especially for car naming parties.
It’s very common for people to name their boats so why is it that some people forget to name their car? Let’s face it, our cars do a lot for us and many of us would be lost without them so why not take the time to think of a good name for your daily companion. On Name Your Car Day take the time to choose a name that your car will be proud of!
Challenge:

What is the name of your car or what would you name your car if you owned one? We mostly went with colors so far, so our last car was named Merlin and the actual one is named Flow.

Dress your HA to present the name and character of your car. You can enter up to 2 HAs which will be judged by my husband who is a better expert when it comes to cars than I. ;-) There'll be 5 winners who can choose from the prize gallery below in order of placing.
It is allowed to use all clothing items, CWs included, and you don’t have to own the items. Please don’t use a HA you already entered in another HA contest in Subeta or made back in time, please make new HAs. Please post the HA(s) here, preferably with the Share function.
Please don’t forget to use surroundings and please layer the face items for a meaningful expression.
Contest ends at Sunday, 6th of October, midnight Subeta time.

If I owned a car, it would be one of those Kias with the hamster commercials... for some reason those commercials with hamsters came to my mind 😳
If I named a car, it probably would be something cute like Emma, Cubert, The Doom Tube or something along those lines 😅

My car is a black Saturn Vue named Darth Vader. XD Not long after I bought it, I discovered the AC system needed to be recharged, and after doing so, the vents started making this creepy sporadic breathing noise for some reason (even when the AC's not on). Well, it pretty much sounds just like him, so between that and the black plastic body panels they used for this car, what else would I name it? haha Private Outfit

Omgosh I love this challenge so much! The entries so far are fantastic :D come back here and do this for Tempest! (I named her that because I thought it was the funniest thing that they were so specific. She's not Blue. She's Tempest Blue Metallic. xD
I liked idea below to use shoes as the rear lights, so that's the shoes in mine. :) Tempest is sporty but sensible, so her outfit looks like this: Outfit Not Found I also always associate her name and attitude with night because her color is dark and has sparkles/glittery metallic finish that reminds me of stars and constellations. <3

We actually name our cars right away lol. Our big SUV is called Moose, and the car we have is called Lace (partially because our previous license plate had a couple of letters from “lace” in it).

SO - we have a car, a vw jetta sportswagon in gunmetal grey. Since it is a German car we named it Gustav, and we call it Goose for short. Since it is grey we call it "Grey Goose" and we love it. Outfit Not Found
My car is 21 years old and the only name I've ever given it is "Saturn" which is awfully boring because that's the name of the car company that made it (its model name)
I love the car, though. It's old and crotchety and only likes me to drive it so we have a personal relationship ❤

When I was a young girl our family had a 1966 Ford Mustang, that we called Sally after the song "Mustang Sally." My HA is represent the Mustang from the old wild west days showing Cowgirl Sally with a wild Mustang.
If I happen to win my first choice would be Sparkling Soapy Magical Hairbrush and the Starry Sapphire Telescope my second choice please.

My first car ever was a Ford Pinto. It was a car that my family had that they gave to me out of high school. I swear that thing hated when I went to K-mart as every time I came out it would not start...lol! I used to call it "Trouble", as that is what it gave me. Here is my tribute to "Trouble."

In my family we've always named our cars. The current car, which we've had for roughly 15 years (just under 90 miles to go before we hit 400,000 miles) is named Kermit because it was our first 'green' car both in color and attitude (hooray for hybrids); so we named it after Kermit the Frog, everyone's green friend. So I tried to make a literal Kermit the Frog HA and one that's more the 'attitude of Kermit and being green.
I have absolutely no idea how to do an HA for my car, but their name is Nyoom because the acceleration is way too sensitive and jolts everyone whenever I have to move from a stopped position. Nyoom is a gold-ish subaru outback I inherited from my mom when she got a new one. She never names her cars so I named Nyoom

Ohhh my cars are already named :D For this one...our Mazda 2 her name is Lizzy Blue ;) And this is my interpertation of her :D

Since Lizzy is mainly blue....but has chrome and black highlights and "red" tail lights I tried to incorporate that into my HA to better represent her! The bubbles are because winter is coming and my hubby will mourn not being able to wash her as much as he'd like....and the snowflakes are representing her favorite time of the year!
This is a stock image but the color and everything matches :D 
My hubby's Yukon Denali is named "He Who Shall Not Be Named" I named it when we got it because there were SO many mechanical issues over and over again. We haven't had any problems in awhile SO he might get renamed Voldemort at some point :D
