I often have the problem that I don't know the name of an item someone is wearing and don't wanna boather them buy asking.
Wouldn't it be great if there was a option in the closet, where we can type in the name of the user and see a list with all the items? This would be amazing!
There is an option already when you edit your profile to show all of what your HA is wearing. When you get the human avatar tab on your profile, you just click said option and tada.
Most people like to pretend there's "layering secrets" and keep their settings secret. I, personally, no longer list mine because I found the clutter to be rather annoying.
I was thinking about this the other day and thought:
What if you could just hover over someone's avatar on their profile and it would show you the items they're using on the layer you're hovering over?
Or even an option so that you could hover or click on someone's avatar, and it would give you the option to "copy" it to your wardrobe so you could see all the items they're wearing and the layers! Kind of similar to Hearthstone's "copy deck" option so you can copy someone else's deck into the game! :)

Mainly because this option already exists, in two ways, if people choose to use them. You can show these items on your profile. You can also post your avatar using the outfit code, which has a built in option to view in wardrobe. Private Outfit If they don't use them (and I note that the OP has chosen privacy themselves), then that's their choice. You can always ask them, or if you don't want to do that, you can post to the Human Avatar Item Identification II.
There is no inherent right to see how someone built their avatar or what items they used, or how they layered. If you want info on creating avatars there are plenty of threads in the human avatar forums - layering suggestions, tricks and tips and you can even post your own thread asking for advice.
