From this old item ; most of the items that used to come in it have been revamped and turned into new costume trunks... Like the and the

However, I remember seeing a post about this a while back and was never sure if it was responded too, as several of the items/costumes have never been turned into trunks or revamped (like the , , , etc.) and some of the old costumes are getting really expensive. I only made this as a separate suggestion because I think we could have a lot of the older trunks revamped and we haven't had any new costume trunk releases in a while now so it'd be a way to hit both options, by doing a re-release of the older costumes turned into trunks, take down some of the pricing and finally have all the old costumes from costume trunk be their own items.

I'd really like some of the older items from Costume Trunk FINALLY turned into their own trunks. What do you guys think?

Costume trunk revamps & even some new costume trunk sets always get my vote.

Some time ago I suggested having a Costume Boutique to replace Costume Trunks. The new items could cost the same as the current CS Boutique items.

From what I heard, the last few Costumes weren't converted into trunks because it was no longer cost effective to sell them for 500 CSC. :(

I like the idea of the boutique items equivalent CSC, especially since there's only a remaining few of these that could be converted into actual "trunks" or boutique like items and most of them are at 70+ mill or unbuyable, so it'd be good to a) re-release them with updated art and b) drop the prices down.

also plz, I really want have this released as two separate sets T^T (and Maiden's Favor, Djinn Lamp and Samurai Tanto)

The Cash Shop Boutique Delish sets are 1250 CSC approximately equivalent 130MsP. It's not reasonable IMO to make the old things into new all Alladin-like for much cheaper than that. The other old separable Trunks have been reintroduced and sold in bits because they're old art and might as well make some site-money with the already created items more than the price they're selling at would be an expected price if they were created now.

Other than that I think these would be fun if they were separable.

The unrevamped costume trunks are currently even less cost-effective when you think about it. Users who want to buy the unrevamped trunks can't buy them from the cash shop. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but afaik we can only buy these items from other users.

I can't compare a lot of the costume trunks to Delish. Delish is heavily oriented toward fashionistas and looks much more nightmarish to draw in terms of all the details and intricate delicate bits, while trunks have a lot of appeal for fashionistas and users who like to build our pet TCs.

I still vote for revamping the old costume trunks just to complete them & get that eternal WIP out of the way. Even if they have less pieces overall, it's still a way for the site to make money. Costume trunks are always available, so even when the fund quota for the art revamp is met, users can continue buying costume trunk pieces as they need them.

And if later on, staff want to have a go at a new costume trunks v2.0 line that is slightly more expensive? That's fine too.

Same (of course). Mostly because all these older items are unbuyable or at ridiculous rates, and there's only a remaining few that need to be turned into sets like everything else from the costume trunk so honestly just getting that eternal WIP out of the way (with nice updated items) would be nice. It doesn't look like the Seal of Olympus came from there, but it has a similar problem.

Heck, they don't have to put them at Boutique prices, just put them in the Cash Shop with the same pricing on the pieces for Costume Trunks now

(Penguin Costume and Magical Matches were also in the spooky costume trunk, but those don't really seem like the right type to get a full set.)

All of my comments were responded to, though. It was usually a "we're going to revamp them eventually." I guess they're not wrong, considering the recent revamp of Maiden's Favor. These items are from 2007-2008 or so, and most of those initial items received their set revamps in 2010.

Well, hopefully we'll see some more of them come to be revamped this year and re-released in the costume shop
