I noticed that quite a significant number of people on Subeta are adults - 25++ and more.

Having played Subeta for some time, did any of you make new friends here and even meet up? After all, it's not as easy to make friends as adults as we did as children, right? I myself am 24 this year, and my social circle is only getting smaller and smaller.

I'd like to hear some stories about friendships you guys made here if anyone has some to share! :D

i've met like....... all my close internet friends on this site asdfghjkl mostly through forums groups! tho for a couple we just, randomly started talking lmao

I had made an account in 2008, and at that time I also met someone. We started out rping here on Subeta and then moved off-site, and even though we both quit Subeta some years ago we kept in touch and now....Well, now that person is my roommate and we've been living together for about two and a half years :)

Since my more recent-ish return (actively sometime in January of this year) I've made friends too and it's been wonderful ^^

I've been on Subeta for almost 12 years. I made a few awesome friends, mainly and .

Shrimp was the first actual friend I made, and we've been best friends for about ten years. I plan one day to go to the state she lives in with my boyfriend, as we haven't had the chance to meet but we do talk when we get a chance to and it'll go on for a few hours. But I don't mind as we do so at least once or twice a week. We've sent packages to one another, and we just have an amazing sisterly relationship. She's the best and it's all thanks to our interest in Pokemon. That's how I actually met her. I was looking for a certain Pokemon for my Diamond version and she had one. Started talking some on the DS when the WiFi functions were still working. A few things happened and we lost contact for a little but thankfully we are back in connection with one another. I love her so much, she's seriously one of a kind.

LinneaHime was wanting to do an Rp with me and the interest we have in common is Kingdom Hearts. She's a huge fan like myself and we talk quite a bit too. She lives in another country but we talk and message each other over Facebook messenger. We've been best friends for about five years now and we've only been getting closer. I just want to thank Subeta because it's a site that brought amazing people to me. I'm so grateful I had a chance to make great friends here.

Haven't really met any friends on Subeta, used to play with a friend or two but they've retired from the site. I'm on and off the site as there's still features that interest me even at this age heh :)

I've made close friends on other pet sites in middle/high school, but I'm really not very active in the forums or anything on here. I mostly just work on my pets and my HA. I have some friends but we've maybe talked once or twice ?

I used to make friends mostly through roleplaying forums, but the one on here seems pretty dead and I don't have much time to keep up with it anymore anyway. :(

Starting to meet good folks on here

I haven't met any on Subeta, but I've also been inactive for a long time. I did meet a close friend on Neopets when we were around 12? We're both close to 30 now and still talk. I met one of my best friends on a message board in 2004 and my husband while playing competitive Overwatch in 2017. I am still not sure how the hell I met him, but I'm thankful everyday for random match making haha.

I've made one online acquaintance on here. We don't really talk, but I like keeping up with what's going on with her life, and it seems mutual. I have tried making friends on here, but I haven't met anyone else yet where there was the right chemistry.

I have, looking back...I'm glad I didn't chew them out. Perhaps someday I could visit, I will eventually. Its no random thing his chance encounter had formed a friendship, just like another did over ten years ago.

A long time ago I had some friends here I'd consider "close" But some stuff happened and I lost internet access for about a year and a half. And when I came back most people had forgotten me and deleted me, or changed their names and it was tougher to reconnect than I thought...because even I had trouble remembering some folks well. :(

I've made a few friends so far, but nothing super "close" ^w^ I would love friends, tho~
