i have used 19 of 21 pet slots it says..where/how do i find and use them please?

i also need help on my profile the add/updates section.
It pops up UNDER my profile pictures and i cant click and use the add feature. my profile is NOT filling up the whole page like it used too perhaps that issue is causing this issue? any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!

I can't answer the profile question, but the pet slots thing just means you currently have 19 pets but you have 21 slots available. You don't have to do anything to use them except adopt or create another pet
