I feel kind of intimidated to post here, but I just want to quickly introduce myself and say thank you!
I've been a user (on and off) for 5 years, but I've only just gotten into battling. I was always interested in trying it, but I kept getting put off by how complicated and expensive it seemed, and how far ahead everyone else seemed to be. Now that I've started, I'm just annoyed at myself for not giving it a go sooner.
I'm only Tier 4 at the moment. I'm not sure how far I'll be able to go/how long it'll take me without having tons of sp to burn. Reading through the recommended weapon guides and seeing the cost of even the budget options just about gave me a heart attack (although my Slayer of Souls has been doing just fine so far - I've actually grown rather fond of it). And seeing some of you borrowing weapons and discussing strategies made me realize it's going to get a lot more complex than it is now. But I'm really enjoying experiencing a brand-new (to me) side of Subeta and I'm curious to see how far I can go. If anyone else around here is new to battling and wants to chat, feel free to add me as a friend!
Anyway, I just want to say thanks to everyone who takes the time to answer questions and compile guides on this forum. I've been pouring over it for days (at this point, I feel like I've read every thread since the beginning of time) and I've learned so much. Even the simplest of mechanics can be confusing when you're as new and stupid as I am - case and point, I would probably still be pouring my exp into level if I hadn't started browsing here. Thank you for helping me avoid making mistakes like that!
creeps back into the darkness and continues to lurk
I have to admit at first it probably does seem daunting but as you progress your pets tier and your able to beat harder opponents you'll notice that you get more than adequate weapons. That will last you into the end game of battling. Or if you your feeling daring like alot of the battlers that stayed around you could have multiple max tier pets with lots of different builds, Lots of options.
Also posting in the BC chat is a good way to get to know fellow battlers and just to keep you motivated on your journey to the top of BC.
I was relieved to see that quite a few of the weapons and scrolls mentioned frequently are loot drops. I'm working my way towards the LoSS as we speak! I think I'll just have to take things one tier at a time and go at my own pace, otherwise it seems impossible. Thanks for the encouragement!
Welcome aboard :D There is definitely a steep learning curve at first but I think for anyone who is brave enough to keep at it, battling is very rewarding.
Feel free to ask questions on the Battle Chat too, we’re always there to help explain all of the nuances and offer advice.
Welcome to battling! You'll find lots of people who are more than happy to share advice! It's always nice to see new faces pop up!
Do you have a rare item that just won't sell? Are you going through the high levels of Item Hunt? Or maybe you just HATE that blue bunny? Then you should join IHH helpers and IHH bargain in the forum groups!
There are so many good guides and helpful threads on this forum! And the battle chat is definitely a super helpful and nice place, you should always feel welcome to post there! ^_^ Happy battling!!! It's been a source of a ton of fun for me, I hope you continue to enjoy it. :)
Thanks for welcoming me in guys! I'll try to stop lurking in battle chat and start posting from time to time. I'm definitely feeling less intimidated now.
Welcome welcome!!! :D Its always nice to see a new face step into the fray. Hopefully you enjoy your adventure into battling! ❤
cough, it doesnt have to be expensive if youre patient! >_> :D
Thank you! And that's definitely what I'm counting on haha
Always glad to see people get into battling, welcome! Since is not here to offer up my services, feel free to leave me a comment or smail any time you need help ^_^
Welcome to the world of battling! It’s, in my opinion, the best part of the site. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful! Feel free to drop me (or ?) a line if you need help!
Omg it was only the once, but now I’m going to do it everywhere. Even if it’s not related to the conversation. “So I just got this new CW —“ interruption “Right, but if you have battle questions, ask Wesker.”
