So that's twice now that the Rift has given me nothing three days in a row. I'll be very frustrated if it happens again tomorrow, so I thought I'd ask, is it actually possible for it to happen more than three days in a row, or is three days the maximum? I don't know how possible it is to code, I just feel like if users get ignored more than three days in a row, they might start to think there's something wrong with their account that will cause it to happen with every item they use. I also think it would also be frustrating if anyone is unlucky enough for it to happen for more than three days.

I'm pretty sure it's random. Odds are, you got some bad RNG luck and the rift ate your item two days in a row.

It's kind of like Morty Cards. you'll get days when you get none, then you end up with 6+ in a single day.

I know it's random, what I want to know is if it's programmed so that you can only get nothing up to three days in a row, or if it can happen for more than three days, so then I'll know if it's likely to happen again tomorrow or not.

I wish I could get it 3 or more days in a row so I can get that last achievement. I doubt anyone knows if it is programmed that way, other than staff/programmers.

I think it's random and I've gotten it sixteen times total since THE RIFT manifested. So once every seven days or so and you are super unlucky?

In any case, I doubt staff will comment except to say it's working properly.

Maybe THE RIFT doesn't like certain things, or gets bored. Are you putting the same thing in everyday? Just because nobody has noticed this before doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It's a once a day thingy and I don't think anyone has done an analysis on the threads in General where people post what they got or didn't get..

I'm sorry, I was just frustrated, and I'm not sure if I want to risk throwing in another item unless I know it will definitely give me something that time, or if I should just take a break and throw in some SP instead. Maybe I should have just made a thread about it in the bragging and complaining forums, but I know that there are some ways that certain features work that the staff don't tell us about, so I wanted to know if the Rift did have any programming to stop it from giving you nothing more than three days in a row to reduce frustration.

Don't worry about it, you're good! I get being super frustrated, but that's just how luck rolls some days. Maybe try throwing a cheap restockable in tomorrow?

I'm already throwing in cheap items, I just find it frustrating when I get nothing for more than one day in a row. This isn't the first time I've gone 3 days without getting anything. I wouldn't mind that feature if not for the fact that it can happen multiple days in a row, which is why I was hoping it was programmed so that it couldn't do it for more than 3 days.

The first day was a Dandybunny that I got from a random event, the second day was that bag you can get from the Hustler, and today was one of those eye masks from the Grooming Parlour. I don't think they had anything to do with it, though.
