Summer Radiance Cup team: Greece[BR] 1. Describe your ideal travel outfit. Anything that's soft and breezy for a warm location or something that is warm and cozy for a cold place. Also being cute is a definite must! 2. What is your preferred method of travel? I'm actually terrified of brooms and magic carpets, but Muggle Planes are a wonderful way to travel. My mother is also not big on magical modes of transports, even though she’s a full witch. 3. If you could go anywhere in the Wizarding and/or Muggle world, where would it be? My family visits Japan a lot, but if I were to go anywhere new It would probably be to Greece. I’ve heard the diving there is fantastic. 4. What are your essential items for traveling? My seahorse plushie that Magnus got me last year during the trip to the beach. I sleep with it almost every night. If we’re going somewhere where I’ll be swimming, I definitely pack my wetsuit as well. 5. What are your favorite snacks to take along for the ride? We usually fly and get snacks on the airplanes. My favorite snack to get in the airports are crisps. 6. What song do you need to have on your travel playlist? Luckily I can listen to muggle music devices on airplanes, so I normally listen to J-Pop. I’ve really been enjoying Eve’s “As you Like It.” 7. How do you spend/kill time if the journey is a particularly long one? I usually sleep on long trips or doodle in my sketch book. It’s fun to try and doodle people as they pass. 8. Where is the farthest place and/or longest time you've been away from home? My family normally travels to Japan for most holidays, so I guess it’s the furthest as it’s practically on the other side of the world! 9. What is your pet peeve about traveling? The close confines in airplanes. Usually I’m seated between my parents which is okay, but every once in a while I’m next to a stranger. That’s all sorts of uncomfortable! 10. What do you get out of exploring and adventuring to new places? I love swimming so I usually make all sorts of new fish friends each time we go somewhere new. Some people are interesting to meet too. But I also usually almost always get local art supplies! It’s fascinating how some inks and paints work from different parts of the globe.

[BR] 1. Describe your ideal travel outfit. My ideal travel outfit is something super comfortable and versatile. Jeans, shirt and a plaid shirt. Shoes preferably sneakers.
2. What is your preferred method of travel? I love to travel by boat! As I live on Inishmore, an irish Island with little population, it's the most popular way to travel. It's also very relaxing to just sit in the boat and float gently and slowly over the water.
3. If you could go anywhere in the Wizarding and/or Muggle world, where would it be? I heard Iceland is pretty interesting as Muggle folk there believes in gnomes and such. That makes me wonder if the people there live differently. Furthermore, Iceland has such a pretty landscape and is surely breathtaking.
4. What are your essential items for traveling? A bottle of water, my sketch book, a mechanical pencil with eraser, carrots as a snack.
5. What are your favorite snacks to take along for the ride? Ha! I love to dip carrot sticks in quark with herbs. It's super satisfying and the carrots do actually last pretty long. I also like to bring fishcake or a fish sandwich along, preferably one with Bismarck herring.
6. What song do you need to have on your travel playlist? Daughter - Numbers That's the song. But if an instrumental piece with vocals counts as well, then it would be this one: The Realm of The Fallen King (Feat. Sharm) Check it out here - her beautiful voice starts at 9:50
7. How do you spend/kill time if the journey is a particularly long one? I'm thinking most of the time. Playing scenarios in my head which would never happen in real life. I like to sketch my researched stuff as well.
8. Where is the farthest place and/or longest time you've been away from home? Well, that's difficult. Until I was 4, I lived in London and I never travelled. Then, my father moved us to Inishmore, after my mother disappeared. So it would be Inishmore, but as that's my home, London could be the farthest place from home, too. Father is busy and we don't do holidays, but that's fine.
9. What is your pet peeve about traveling? All the planning before! Making sure you've packed everything. I'm often running back from the sea to the house when I forgot something I absolutely need. And then, on the boat, I notice that I didn't need it that bad.
10. What do you get out of exploring and adventuring to new places? Experiences. Just experiences. It broadens my knowledge and mind. I don't have time to collect useless stuff like souvenirs, our house is pretty small.
1. Describe your ideal travel outfit. Anything comfy really, jeggings are great for that. I like to have a nice sweater to throw over t-shirts. Good shoes are a must, usually hinking shoes. I almost always go with a backpack. 2. What is your preferred method of travel? By train or car. I'm a bit scared of planes, they makes me really anxious, though once passed takeoff it weirdly eases. 3. If you could go anywhere in the Wizarding and/or Muggle world, where would it be? I would love to visit Japan with my best friend. Though I would really like to go back hiking in Scotland. 4. What are your essential items for traveling? My phone, my tablet and my teddy bear (I won't sleep without it). 5. What are your favorite snacks to take along for the ride? A coke kind of drink and cookies. 6. What song do you need to have on your travel playlist? Yun Hi Chala Chal 7. How do you spend/kill time if the journey is a particularly long one? Reading fanfictions, listening to music, watching videos, talking if I'm with company. 8. Where is the farthest place and/or longest time you've been away from home, outside of school? San francisco for 12 days in 2014, both farthest and longest! 9. What is your pet peeve about traveling? I'm a very anxious prone person so before boarding a train or worse a plane, I might need some medical help so to speak. And any kind of unexpected situations related to transport and/or housing are going to make me go high in anxiety. 10. What do you get out of exploring and adventuring to new places? I love to discover and learn about new places, new cultures. Meeting locals is cool too.

1. Describe your ideal travel outfit. When I travel I try to stay comfortable. If it is a long journey then I will normally be in some sort of travel pants and a sweater. I layer my clothes because you never know the temperature of the train (bus or plane). If it is a short trip then I just wear whatever I plan to wear that day. I normally take longer trips though because I like exploring new places and learning about the animals that are native there.
2. What is your preferred method of travel? I normally travel by train. Since I live in Ireland I have become accustomed to traveling on a ferry to, otherwise I would never leave the island (lol).
3. If you could go anywhere in the Wizarding and/or Muggle world, where would it be? I want to travel to North America. I have never been that far (never anywhere by plane) and have heard a lot about the place. I think it would be interesting to take some time over there and explore how the muggles and wizards are in a whole different continent.
4. What are your essential items for traveling? Pip. lol. He wouldn’t be left behind even if I wanted to. Kit is learning the fun of traveling too. Other than my pets - I have a bag that I have with me when I travel. It is a cat bag that I bought from a small place in Lamlash. I keep my essentials in there which are; my wallet (id, money, etc.), my headphones, phone, an extra battery pack for fast charging, tissues, a pencil and pen, a small notebook, a book, and lotion. I sometimes have other things depending on where I am and what I am doing but those are always with me.
5. What are your favorite snacks to take along for the ride? Crackers and iced cider (or iced tea). I like to keep it light when I snack on my travels. I would much rather save my food for local favorites.
6. What song do you need to have on your travel playlist? Shotgun by George Ezra. It is so upbeat that I cannot help but smile when I hear it.
7. How do you spend/kill time if the journey is a particularly long one? I read. I try to always have a book with me. Sometimes I also find it fun to try and talk to people on the train. I am normally really shy but I have always enjoyed talking with older people. They have so many interesting stories and sometimes they are alone too.
8. Where is the farthest place and/or longest time you've been away from home, outside of school? When I was 14 my parents heard of an interesting creature that lived in Serbia. They decided that during my school break we would travel there and see what we could find regarding the creature. It turns out that it dwells near a small village called Janja. We spend the whole of my break traveling there and exploring the country.
9. What is your pet peeve about traveling? Rude people. Everyone has a job they have to do and maybe they are tired too. That doesn’t give someone the right to be rude to them. I was on a bus once where this muggle decided to yell at the driver because there was traffic. The driver had nothing to do with it, but the passenger thought that yelling would make the bus go faster.
10. What do you get out of exploring and adventuring to new places? I learn new things. I am looking to become a Magizoologist so any travel I do helps me learn and understand more about the creatures and the environment they inhabit. I have also met some very interesting people and learned a little bit more about different cultures.

1. Describe your ideal outfit for traveling in. Loose and comfortable shirt and pants. Open toes shoes whenever possible but always with a backup in the bag just incase, you know? Gotta have a hat to keep your hair under control.
2. What is your preferred method of travel? Walking honestly. You get to experience more of a place by walking through it. But besides that, ATVs are pretty fun and magic carpets are the coolest most terrifying thing you'll ever fly on. As for long range travel... I guess a portkey. They don't really make me nauseous anymore.
3. If you could go anywhere in the Wizarding and/or Muggle world, where would it be? Hawaii! I want to go to Hawaii.
4. What are your essential items for traveling? Something to listen to music on, mostly my phone... A stuffed animal that I can use as a pillow. A change of shoes, bag of toiletries, extra hair ties... You know. I duno. Phone charger.
5. What are your favorite snacks to take along for the ride? Dates, almonds, a bottle of water, is gum considered a snack?
6. What song do you need to have on your travel playlist? Anything by Beats Antique or Gramatik
7. How do you spend/kill time if the journey is a particularly long one? listening to music, reading, playing games on my phone, chatting with cute girls who think my stuffed animal pillow is cute, you know normal stuff.
8. Where is the farthest place and/or longest time you've been away from home, outside of school? I've not gone too terribly far away besides traveling here once before, but I've certainly stayed away for awhile. Think the longest time was maybe a month or two? I can't remember... My friends parents let me stay at their houses often.
9. What is your pet peeve about traveling? The unreliable cost of good food. Not always having access to a comfortable night's sleep.
10. What do you get out of exploring and adventuring to new places? I freakin love learning and trying new things. Meeting weird and exciting people. Trying new food has to be up there, especially the sweets. Hearing new music, exploring a new park, trying unique coffee. Basically everything about exploring is good and I totally love it.

2. What is your preferred method of travel? Anything on the water - sailing, canoe, kayak, dragon boat, cruise ship, jet ski, etc.!
3. If you could go anywhere in the Wizarding and/or Muggle world, where would it be? In Canada, there's a train called the Rocky Mountaineer that has glass cars and goes through the Rockies. I think that would be beautiful to experience!
4. What are your essential items for traveling? Phone and camera, and lots of chargers!
5. What are your favorite snacks to take along for the ride? Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Botts (guessing flavours can really help pass the time!).
6. What song do you need to have on your travel playlist? Across the Universe and On the Road Again.
7. How do you spend/kill time if the journey is a particularly long one? See above, with the Bertie Botts! But usually reading or napping is the go-to to pass time.
8. Where is the farthest place and/or longest time you've been away from home? Ilvermorny for the Triwizard Tournament.
9. What is your pet peeve about traveling? For Muggle travelling, it's being cooped up in confined spaces with so many people for extended periods of time. Being on the water tends to lend itself to more space - even on a cruise ship, you have your own room you can retreat to (unlike a plane!). For magical travelling, I usually end up accidentally getting Floo Powder up my nose and end up sneezing for a good day after travelling!
10. What do you get out of exploring and adventuring to new places? I love experiencing new cultures and seeing beautiful sights.
