"The Daily Prophet is doing a story about mascots around the world and throughout Quidditch history. Team mascots traditionally perform a display prior to the final match at Quidditch World Cup tournaments. They're a fun bit of culture that bring excitement and drama to the sport. I'll never forget the fight between Bulgaria's Veela mascots and Ireland's Leprechaun mascots in '94!"
"We'd like to see your fan perspective on what makes a good mascot for the team you're supporting in the Summer Radiance Cup."
This lightning challenge is like our Human Avatar challenges! If this is your first Human Avatar challenge, all you have to do is share an avatar using Subeta's Wardrobe.

Satyr's are very common in Greece, and a closely akin to Centaurs. When they preformed for the opening ceremonies it was amazing. They plaid their flutes and wove magic into the song to make you feel like you were beside a warm Greek river in spring. Absolutely lovely!

Outfit Not Found This is a Thirayattam dancer. Thirayattam is a ritual performing ethnic art form of the South Malabar region. I think that it would be amazing to see these dancers in action!

Here I have the state animal of Russia, the brown bear. I thought she would make a perfect mascot for our team. We're rough and don't give up when we know what we want, and we're also very resourceful, just like the brown bear. I've got her here sporting the colors from Russia's flag to cheer our team on!

the farasi bahari is a mythological creature of indian origin -- it's a horse that lives at the bottom of the indian ocean, with a green hide and fins instead of hair. they don't need to breathe, and so can live in the water, but because they never have to catch their breath they have limitless endurance. if one breeds with a normal horse the offspring will also have limitless endurance. i thought it was a good mascot for that reason -- the team never stops and will never be beaten!
however, they're notoriously difficult to catch, so i think they would have people dressed up as them instead.

To the equine loving Drew Wilder, a Greece mascot would be one of the gods associated with horses. It was a toss up between Poseidon riding in on a hippocampus and Apollo arriving in his chariot for the youth. In the end Apollo won out.
The dazzling light from Apollo's entry might temporarily blind those not expecting it, but the fans of the Greek team knew to wear sunglasses and cheered as the chariot flew onto the pitch.

I wasn’t able to lock this because I was at a wedding, but I unfortunately can’t count your entries due to the nature of Lightning Challenges. It was nice to see your stabs at it though!

I really appreciate all the insights on your teams’ cultures!
