Yep, just that. I miss the old Pet Spotlight before they started allowing custom pet overlays. I loved how creative people were able to get within the confines of the contest. Nowadays anybody can just spend $5 to have their pet look like whatever they want, slap 200 characters of code in, and win the Spotlight.

I'm kind of confused- where the rules different before? Are you saying they had stricter rules for the actual profile? I thought it was always a raffle style once they approved the profile.

I feel like the pet aspect of the site is a little neglected sometimes, it would be nice to see a resurgence of interest in the spotlight and pet development in general.
