So Im making a goal of $430.90 by November. to do this Im trying to figure out how many sets of videos I need to watch? Let me explain. 990 points equals $10.00. each set of videos is 2 points. so 990 divided by 2 is 495 sets of videos (if math is correct) so that's just for $10.00 .. Math is my weakest subject.. Thankfully I won't be relying on sets of videos alone. I get a percentage back on what I spend online at some stores. I coupon when I can. I do rebates when there available on items I need.

do you think my goal is realistic? Does four and half mean $450? or $425?

I mean, I guess that depends on how long the videos are and how much time you want to spend watching them. Like, are these super short videos, or are they fairly lengthy?

General speaking, if someone say four-and-a-half in terms of money etc they mean $450. $425 would be four-and-a-quarter. :)

And your 495 sets of videos = 990 points = $10 set of thinking is correct. :) But you'd have to do that +/-43 times, depending on how much else you pulled in from the other activities. So I agree, depends on how long the video sets are! If the sets are say 2 minutes long each, then that's a total of 42,570‬ minutes to get $430. Let's see, from today, November 1 is in 79 days. So again, if the video sets are 2 minutes long then you'd have to commit to watching about 270 video sets per day, which will take up 9 hours of your day.

It'd definitely be a more-than-full-time job and that's assuming these videos are pretty short. Of course I may be overestimating how much you need to make from videos too!

videos are different lengths but all are under 12 minutes. Each set(playlist) of videos contains a different number of videos. I just put it on mute and let it run check it every few minutes for ads and close the ads to continue the playlist.

If they're all under 12 minutes, that's still significantly longer than 2 minutes per video like in Velociraptor's post. So, you'd be watching videos for far more than 9 hours per day (e.g. if the videos are usually 4 minutes long, you'd need to watch them for 18 hours per day to make the goal). It's a lot of time for not a lot of money, all things considered. Depending on the usual length of the videos, you might not make your goal by November.

i'm a bit off topic, and i see you already got your answers. ;p

SPOILER (click to toggle) let the videos run in the background while you do something else ;)

why don't you get a .com site instead of .weebly.com? with a .com site you can run ads on your blog and make more money. I'm in the process of organizing my site (AGAIN -_- ) to be able to run ads and make some money that way. feel free to comment me if you want.

I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
