i also do recommend subetalodge like mentioned below; it's a must-use

well, pretty much everything is covered in the newbie guide linked, but...

• quests are going to be a great way to build up your sP. they award quest points, which can be spent in the quest shop. wizard quests also award wizard tokens, which can be deposited and spent in the token shop, which restocks about once a week with valuable items.

• i recommend adding the "quests" widget to your sidebar so you can keep track of how many you've done and easily access them each day. experiment with other sidebar widgets to see what you find most helpful on the customize sidebar[/u] page (personal > customize sidebar).

• visit the bathhouse every day to get increasing rewards, including CSC (cash shop credits) that can be spent in the cash shop, or to purchase custom wearables made by other users. i recommend making the bathhouse your subeta bookmark in your browser so you remember to visit each time you access the site.

• make a shop (commerce > your shops) to sell items you don't want to keep.

• check out the games and dailies pages to find other things to do. games are a fun way to earn a little extra sP, while some dailies like the ikumoradeekanox ("pick space fruit"), checking the trash can, and bug catching get you free items. the ruffie raffle (linked on the games page) gives you a free 'lifelike doll' each day, which can be added to your wardrobe (there are achievements for having all colors of a given species in your wardrobe) or sold in your shop.

• subeta is a pet site, and there are lots of different species and colors for every taste, so have a look at the colors & species reference to see if there's anything that interests you. then you can create or adopt pets and make them into whatever you want using elixirs (to change species) and potions (to change color).

• the wardrobe is also a lot of fun in my opinion - i love playing around and making cool outfits. if you uncheck the "only show items you own" option, you can work with any item on site and save the outfits you create, though you'll only be able to wear them if you buy the clothes and add them to your wardrobe.

• if there are pages you want to keep track of (such as the dailies page) you can bookmark them by clicking the little plus sign near the top right of the page, and manage your bookmarks on the bookmarks page (personal > dashboard > bookmarks).

• also, subetalodge is an excellent fansite that has a robust search system for subeta items complete with information on where/how to obtain most items, lists of pet species and colors, and more. i highly recommend bookmarking it.

I would start with quest. First one do Shinwa. A lot of things they send you on you can find some nice things you want or can buy items to resell as well. And if you can find a group to join I would. I love the group I'm in we have all sorts of contest and they're very helpful. We even play games as well.
