Recently my life situation changed and I have less time to play. All my pets are in various stages of unfinished. Most I want to work on when I have time but others just don't inspire me any more...

Aww, having less time to play is no fun. I totally understand though - I'm about to experience the same myself. Lately I haven't had much desire to work on my pets creatively, but I've been getting into battling and training instead. Fortunately I can still train even when I get busy!

I'm interested in Spun for the name. I have a set of characters that I'm working on that I call the Palindrome Set, because they each have palindromatic ID numbers. Thus far this includes:

Wove is a discarded plushie who was brought to life by a fairy grandmother and who now goes about fixing other discarded toys. Held is a being who comforts people as they die (kind of like a reaper, invisible to everyone but the dying person, but she does not actually reap the soul). I would like to add Spun to this set, because I like the whole four-letter-irregular-past-tense word theme I've got going on. Spun's job would be to help people find their "spark". She can see into people's soul and discover whether their "flame" has gone out or not, and it's her job to help them reignite their passions. I think the name "spun" fits because of something to do with the Greek Fates and how each life is a thread, and also maybe something along the lines of Rumplestiltskin turning straw into gold, though I haven't quite figured out how to express that.

Spun's name would be given to pet who I recently adopted (currently named Cares) to fit in with the Palindrome Set.

I am super interested in Skyrocket! I don't have a complete character idea but the name sparked a bit of an idea for me. I would want him to be part of one of my worlds that is a planet of robotic animals. He would be someone who wound up with the very rare ability of flight, but he acts young and pretty reckless. Tries to be a big showoff but is really not good at it. The people on that world are working to rebuild after their creator turned against them and killed most of them, then fled. So he develops a dream of wanting to be their new leaders, but learns he'll have to master his flying before he handle that sort of responsibility.
