Alright everyone, I'm trying to organize my Halloween gallery and I've run into a problem. Are Keetos considered a ghost or a zombie? And are Darkonites a zombie or a frankenstein? Please state your opinions below!
EDIT: Harvesters too - ghost or grim reaper?
Based on my reading of the Subetapedia, I'd say that Darkonites are closest to Frankenstein's monster, since they were experiments created by Dr. Asmodeus "with its brain exposed and its strange mash-up of body parts". It also says they act in unpredictable ways.
Since keetos are described as being "surrounded by a strange, otherworldly aura" and having "almost a spirit-like presence about them," I'd say they're most akin to ghosts. In fact, I swear somewhere I've read of them as being ghosts, but I can't now think of where.
Harvesters I would call much closer to a grim reaper than a ghost - after all, a ghost doesn't usually go around holding a scythe.
Unless it is a grim reaper ghost.
But the Subetapedia article on harvesters is quite fascinating. Instead of harvesting dead souls, they harvest fears and nightmares, feeding on them to protect children.
[Edit]This item implies that keetos are ghosts:
But then this item says they are zombies:
Soooo...there's that. But I'm still leaning more on the side of ghosts, what with the aura thing and all. Also, many items refer to their "glow", and none refer to them eating brains.
- I think the Zombie sticker is a bit of a red herring! Keetos are definitely more ghosts/spirits.
I don't think keetos are ghosts OR zombies. They're entirely corporeal but have spirit auras, according to the subetapedia article. They're living creatures (they have babies! it's in the subetapedia article too) but they have a strong spirit component, that's all.
" they communally raise their young, called kitlings. "
They eat - insects and snacks - also from the subetapedia article.
They just aren't undead.
