Is MSH a bit better because of its curse and blessing and block spread. The block spread is probably helpful for Kain. ME is obvious choice for those who don't have it or a full dark blocker but I don't see much reason for it otherwise.

I think for people that need to choose between the 2, ME wins on opportunity cost by a landslide.

There are tons of high end opponents that need dark or earth blocks.

The alternative for MHS is the OHS which is solid.

The alternative for ME is so bad I don't remember the name and don't feel like looking it up.

The blessing on slappy (going to make this a thing!) is around 5% but I have seen it on occasion activate for 5 turns. Dark is still a better block. Tons of opponents have it. OHS is also a great alternative for earth block, especially for opponents that steal. If you don’t have ME, I would get that first

yea fair points. im not too phased which ever option as have dark and earth blocking sorted. im just trying to find a reason to not make a slappy hahaha because it looks fun nice gelly HA. very subtle.

oh wow slappy did that 5 times in a row haha but slappy looks fun. but yea understood about ME being the preferred option I assume itd be a bit easier to sell later too

What about the core v the hand? I obviously can't make the hand just to test it, but which is a better WEAPON?

(I found out I already had the essence in my armory and never use its oops lol) (And if the core itself isn't more useful than my regular attackers, then I might just make the hand anyway for the wardrobe)

hand is better than the core. the core has no heal

The BAs have mentioned they're going to update the Core soon-ish so I would hold off on combining it for now until we know what the new stats will be. Especially if you have an OHS or Ether already.
