That’s not always easy to implement in your life yet one step at a time!
Challenge:
Design a HA doing something beneficial for the health. You are very welcome to post several HAs, you can win several times with them if chosen.
It is allowed to use all clothing items, CWs included, and you don’t have to own the items. Please don’t use a HA you already entered in another HA contest in Subeta or made back in time, please make new HAs. Please post the HA(s) here, preferably with the Share function.
Please don’t forget to use surroundings and please layer the face items for a meaningful expression.

I only had time to do one HA for the contest as we are going away on vacation. My HA has been jogging with her canine companion and then cooling down with a nice bike ride while picking some flowers to take back home.

Ardath and Wendy go on a nature walk with some animal friends. (Did you know animals are good for your health? Well, they are--people who have pets or spend time with animals are happier!) Ignore the axe. Wendy rarely leaves home without it. The devil is mostly tame, as long as you're nice to Ardath. Wendy just met the fox, but I think they have a lot in common, and not just the colour of their hair!

Valiska got Mabel to watch the kits so she can take a break from teaching, experimenting, politicking and mothering to take a nice, relaxing bath. I'm not sure about the wisdom of bath candles with that much hair, but she seems to know what she's doing. Maybe Stanford and/or Severin will join her?

Teleny goes out to catch some waves. Surfing in the evening is fine if you have feline night vision! (Sharks are not a problem when you have small energy weaponry, which is an excellent deterrent. Don't worry, she doesn't hurt them; she just scares them off!)

Lissa grows roses, but she also grows cannabis, which helps many people deal with chronic pain and stress. While she likes to party as much as anyone else does, after a long working day, a low-psychoactive, high-CBD strain helps her relax and wind down so she can get a good night's rest. (She has also been known to roll a little catnip up in there along with the weed. Catnip can be very relaxing even for people who aren't also cats.)
If you are like me, and your lungs can't tolerate smoke of any kind, you can get cannabis tinctures or edible items, and even if you live where the use of THC is against the law, CBD--the component of cannabis that is best at relieving pain and soothing anxiety--may be legally available as an extract of non-psychoactive hemp plants. And catnip can be taken in the form of a tea.

Dhara is an obligate carnivore, but unlike her, you are human. However, some human beings are born without the ability to process iron from plant-based sources and require "heme iron" from animal foods to avoid developing a refractory anemia. Other humans who have plant-protein processing disorders like celiac disease and FODMAP intolerance may not technically require meat to live, but it's still a valuable food source for them. While overconsumption of meat can be harmful, particularly if you have cardiac or circulatory issues, or are at risk for colon cancer, the World Health Organisation does not recommend that you give up meat entirely unless you have a personal ethical issue with it, because it does confer known health benefits.
If you need to eat meat--or simply enjoy it in moderation--and do your best to purchase meat from producers that treat their animals well, to the degree that you can afford--do not let anyone else make you feel guilty about taking care of yourself.

i can speak from personal experience how much insomnia sucks -- a less than ideal amount of sleep makes it hard to do a lot of things, and an odd sleep schedule leaves you alone and bored for large chunks of your "day". aimee's trying an herbal remedy before having another go at sleep. maybe her kitty will curl up with her?

u sk8 or u die dude. u either sk8. or u die. in addition to being good exercise, skating can get you out of the house and around the neighbourhood. pedima might be running some errands here, or visiting some of her friends, or just goofing around. (also like... theres no bike/skate/etc helmets on site at all jfc safety folks)

talk therapy doesn't work for everyone, but giving it a try can be a huge, brave step to improving your mental health and your life overall. it's a lot of work figuring out insurance, finding a clinic, finding a therapist that you're compatible with, and then seeing if it's even helping, so it's huge to take that step. korrum's the sort who probably would benefit from the professional advice of someone who knows what the hell they're on about, though due to how skittish (and broke, and antiestablishment) ze is, it would have taken years for hir to be ready to be in this waiting room.
sometimes self care is going to the 7-11 at one in the morning and buying some really wild sodas and then hanging out with your friends and sitting on some industrial fixture and talking about what's on your mind. in fact it's x's favourite form of self care, save buying and repairing abandoned toasters. other snacks optional. (their favourite is puppy chow.)

most sports, hunting included, can be easily adapted to the wheelchair user if one gives half a fuck. it might not get you the most exercise, as it involves a lot of sitting and waiting, but there's nothing quite like a day out in the wilderness, and as long as you hunt responsibly, the meat you bag yourself can be a lot more humane than industrially produced meat. not to mention it's very nutritious! deer meat has more vitamins than beef, and is particularly high in iron. and there's nothing quite like being able to provide for yourself! so here's saiph proudly displaying one of their kills.
For me, the most important for my health is mental regeneration. Thus, books, they make me rest after work and keep my mind and body health balanced.
Also, walking through the forest with a dog is a pleasant semi-sport.
