@ Ichigo777 Looks like your armory has close to, if not everything needed for the challengers. I'd take a look at the challengers guide, find out which two or so attack types you should block, and also the two most annoying weapons to blast for each challenger. Have the Phoenix Quill and Reviver in your set if you'll be taking heavy damage. And don't forget your Volatile Energized Mecha in a long fight. https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/893452/Comprehensive-Guide-to-Battle-Opponents-v2
Edit: If you trouble identifying healing weapons, just remember that most of the powerful ones are Tier 10 and above, with the Blessed Trident of the Banished One as the notable exception. There aren't way too many to remember; we only have 9 icon types anyways.
Ok I’m going to start with one challenger at a time and if you have improved results, go on to the next challenger. First, know your opponent. Understand what features are enabled and disabled and what damage icons they do the most of. listed a very good guide for that. Let’s start with warl, he’s the easiest of the bunch and pretty straight forward. Warl does mostly dark icons, followed by physical or water. He can’t be frozen. The best weapons you have for him are ME and the ether. You have soma tablets and recycle blaster so you can blast two weapons. You also have reviver of the lion and pquill to heal. You have the rainbow vortex to block + use one blaster. You have the mecha to boost. This will be your set, putting everything together:
ME, ether, soma, recycle blaster, mecha, pquill, reviver, rv Since he can’t be frozen and he has the ability to disable 1 weapon, these are your scrolls:
Aftershocks, all your cobalts, gotf, the void. Let me know if you don’t have enough AP for all that.
Now the rest is just strategy. When you are blasting, you want to be blocking with either the vortex or a cobalt/ the void scroll if you use both blasters in the same turn. Blocking dark is important so if he disables a weapon, always chose ME over the ether. Using a cobalt scroll when a weapon is disabled is also good protection if aftershocks is not enough.
omg that was easy...I don't think I even got knocked into light green once in 10 wins. Scratch one warl XD
The next one to try is biting cake. He's similar to warl, except does mostly dark and magma. You will want ME again, but use cronus this time. He also can't be frozen so the same scrolls should work. Use the same strategy like you did with the warl. This time however, the cake disables both weapons so you will be completely reliant on defensive scrolls when that happens.
Ah, so much easier. :) 10 down. (I think I was trying this battle with the Hook Swords)
I don't know if you're still battling these guys because of the event, but take a look at this thread as well if you are unsure what the weapons you have do:
Combined with that thread, and this guide https://subeta.net/forums.php/read/893452/Comprehensive-Guide-to-Battle-Opponents-v2, could you propose to me what weapons and scrolls you would use for Menecuda and why?
I am since I'm not consistent with Hydro at all & thus its practically impos to guess how far along I am when some battles last 15 turns and others he kills me in 2... Prrobably will wait for the damage counter to come out for that...
anyway, be warned; i stink at figuring stuff like this out... so, he's my best attempt :(
water (all 4 attacks) fire (3 attacks) dark (3 attacks) magma (3 attacks) can block (on one attack) -> physical, leaf, magma, dark blessing -> prevents me from freezing him when active
Manifesting Weapon -> since it uses water icons in every attack, water blocker seems like a must and then probably either Cronus Blade (for magma blocking) or Maniacal Essence (for dark) I'd lean towards Cronus Blade cause it boosts. Then standard healers; ROL, PQ And blasters: Soma, Recycle And round out with Volatile Energized Mecha & Rainbow Vortex
For scrolls, maybe: Lucent Barrier. evn tho it doesn't recover, it blocks 3 of the 4 main attacking types. ((there's probably something better than this to use)) and a bunch of Fatal Fire (block fire & dark) and Cobalt Eternal (block fire & dark) And throw some freezing scrolls in for turns when the blessing he has isn't active.
^ Feel free to rip this to shreds
My responses will be slow while the jelly war is active.
Very solid choices! My only suggestion is to use aftershocks instead of lucent barrier because it deals damage and heals. I would also use a gotf scroll in there instead of a freeze. I believe once the blessing is active, it’s active for the rest of the battle. Give that a try and see what happens.
Well it worked :) Menecuda down
I think you are really getting the hang of it now! Do you still need help or do you think you got the others?
Can I get you to look over a few strats of mine to see if I'm on the right track for these?
I just listed the main 2 weapons + main use scroll. Will supplement the remaining weapon set with healers, blasters, + boosters. And the scrolls with some haling (GOTF) + blockers + freezers (on freezable opponents).
Chronocrone Dark blocker (Core) + Ice Blocker + Triple Threat Scroll? or Ocean Currents Scroll? IDK if I have a good Ice Blocker. Got a recommendation for one?
Meatslab Dark blocker (Core) + Magma Blocker (Cronos) + Feather Explosion Scroll I was tempted to put the ether in but there's only 1 attack that does physical so it seems like a waste...
Scientist Dark blocker (Core) + Water Blcoker (Manifesting) + Aftershocks Scroll (block leaf)
Prakesh Dark blocker (Core) + ? I'm torn here between a light blocker or a physical blockers. More of his attacks do the light damage but the phsyical ones do huge damage... Thoughts?
THE FACELESS ONES Physical Blocker (Ether) + Leaf Blocker (OHS) + Triple Threat Ether seems obviosu here to counter the physical damage & to generate more weapons to try & stall of the stealing. Seems like there's also lots of leaf damage so maybe OHS with TTScroll to cover some of the random ice & wind?
Kain Leaf Blocker (OHS) + Fire Blocker (Natasha) + Triple Threat?
Reischen Dark blocker (Core) + Physical Blocker (Ether) + Triple Threat?
And then I have no clue for Lukien & The Mage. Both seem to have icons all over the place....
And thne of course, there's BAENWURATH which I'm not even sure I'm strong enough to beat..
What a beautiful example of mentoring. I also learned a lot so thank you. :D
For chrono, I would go ocean currents because it has a better heal and some attack. The unstable syringe will block ice, but it also blocks magma, that chrono doesn't do. This is a good case where maybe blocking a third common is better. Chrono also does water so Manifesting Weapon is the better option.
Meatslab is a tough one. His mighty flex can be lethal and he likes to use it a lot. He also has two mighty flex (Jess just lists all the possible weapons, not the quantities). The head explosions are also once per battle. Some people have had luck blocking magma+ physical, others like myself block magma and fire. It all depends on your supporting scrolls. If you use perilous whirlpools and fatal fire to do damage + block fire, then ME is the better route.
Prak - you can do either. He has more weapons that will do light damage, but the physical can hurt a lot when he does use them. Try blocking light first and if the physical gives your trouble, block physical instead. It all depends on what you blast as well. The best thing with him is to bring as many freezing scrolls as possible to attempt to chain freeze him. Unstable fairy was really good for him if you have 5k+ speed. It allows you to preserve some of your better freezing scrolls for when he is down below 10k health.
The scientist is tricky because her icons are all over the place, she does a lot of everything. For her, I would pick earth or dark to block and then I used cronus as my secondary weapon. The reasons I used cronus:
Glad to help!
